Odd use of heraldic symbol of an heir

You're the first person to recognize the symbol (or at least the first to actually say so in a comment). My source for these pictograms was Liungman's _Dictionary of Symbols_, a graphic reference par excellence. This symbol, along with the ones Kelly says on the next page, tell a brief story ... information, perhaps, for the spirit of the one interred here?

2021-11-04 00:27:29 Two possible readings of this: So, after announcing her legitimacy (by descent or succession) Kelly presents the sword that had had brought victory to it's former wielders, and then sorrowfully offers it up for exchange. The other reading (that I prefer) is that this is the tomb of Ewain ap Calleach & Kelly is returning his long-lost sword to him. In any case, she flees the ruins when threatened with death from it's guardian.
