Getting a few more oscillators and VCAs to do things to fill out the patch & make it sound interesting.

One more episode of this.  Then I think I'll do a short video demonstrating ADSR envelopes in detail.

"a veritable tangle" 🤣😅 But i still tank you for showing this. I know you're obviously going overboard to "show everything" and the melody is there more as an experiment than anything else, but yes, it's still very interesting... The stuttering was nice, it helped give an impression of an ancient machine raising to an alarm, or powering up. At least while you kept the stuttering wide enough. The shorter bursts changed it. But except for the very short ones they did not seem as interesting as the slower stuttering. Also: the stuttering seems to be sinusoidal to, like raising and lowering volume rather than just cutting off. can you use triangle or square waves on it?

That fading in&out happened after I plugged an LFO into the Cutoff CV of the WMD filter. It's a result of the "low-pass gate" effect which causes the perceived loudness of a signal to drop off as the higher frequencies are removed. All of these LFOs are triangle waves. A sine wave is rare on an LFO; I don't know why, unless maybe a sine is harder to produce .. for modulation purposes the triangle wave is indistinguishable, so it makes sense to go with the cheaper one. The stuttering itself is caused by a square wave coming from the Clock Distributor controlling the input volume on Mutable Streams (because a square wave is hard on/off without any rising/falling voltage in between peaks it produces a choppy modulation)

Sorry... I did not hear hard cutoffs in the video during the stuttering. But maybe that was me.
