Great Auk, look at how skinny Jenny is.  And check out the Sharpie marker tracks in the black sky back there.  If I had scanned in bitmap, none of that gunk would be visible; it would just be black.  Oh well, think of it as a rare glimpse into my process.  Even though it's now 20+ years later, I still fill in spot black exactly the same way.
