Chapter 12- An old Foe

"You two don't want to go to Hogsmeade?" Harry questioned as he let the girls lead him to their bed.

"The Hogsmeade trip won't start till eleven. It's still ten, Harry." Bellatrix said as she pushed the boy into the bed.

"Hm. In the meantime, we have a few things that we would like to do." Narcissa muttered as she started to unbutton his shirt.

As soon as his shirt was off, Bellatrix jumped on Harry and started to straddle his lap. Harry's hands latched onto her behind as he started to knead it with his fingers, and caught her lips in a heated kiss.

Bellatrix felt herself being lifted and placed on the bed. She then saw Harry kneeling on the ground, his face inches away from her wet quim. Her eyes widened when she realized what he was about to do.

"Harry…." She called trying to stop him, but Harry shook his head quelling her protest. According to her mother it was the duty of the wife to pleasure the husband not the other way around. So in this instance she was finding herself in unexplored territory.

"I think that I would love to return the favor." Harry pointed out with a grin as he reached forward and pulled off her panties. She blushed brightly when she realized that she was completely naked for the first time in front of Harry.

For Harry though, the vision that filled his was one of absolute perfection. Bellatrix face was flushed red as she struggled to maintain eye contact with him. Her large breasts were heaving enticingly due to her heavy breathing. The sight was rounded off by her toned stomach, long and frighteningly attractive legs and her clean shaven quim.

"So beautiful." He muttered as he lowered his head and placed a kiss in between her breasts, slowly moving down to her stomach and then finally her pussy.

Bellatrix gasped as Harry placed a kiss on her private area. She felt him peppering small kisses around her pussy and could only moan at his ministrations.

Harry took a leap of faith before parting her lower lips with his tongue. Bellatrix arched her back as a wave of pleasure hit her as Harry continued to push her towards her climax. Harry continued his work without hesitation, Bellatrix's reaction ushering him onwards. He gently started to stroke her clit which was getting increasingly sensitive due to his touch. Bellatrix could only gasp and moan in pleasure. This was amazing.

FInally Harry decided to raise the ante and finally push her over the edge. He started hissing in parseltongue into her folds. The vibration effect on his tongue caused Bellatrix to go cross-eyed with pleasure as she screamed and started to cum, as she did so she pulled her boyfriend down onto her cunt in order to lengthen the moment. Near the tailed end of her orgasm she felt her vision go white.

Bellatrix slowly opened her eyes after a while, her vision still blurry as a result of the activity. However she could see him smiling at her.

"Enjoyed?" Harry asked the girl as he placed a loving kiss on her forehead and pulled her into his chest. Bellatrix nodded against his chest.

"Where did you learn to do that?" She asked him after her breathing had stabilized a bit.

Harry chuckled softly. "You wouldn't believe me even if I told you."

Harry had asked for knowledge of a few carnal acts that girls would like and he did find a book. Harry had laughed for ten minutes straight. He knew that the Room of Requirements can provide a lot of things, but this was golden. Harry once again had to admire this magnificent creation. Rowena Ravenclaw was a brilliant woman.

"Now, if you will excuse me, I have another beautiful goddess to attend to," Bellatrix turned her head to see that Narcissa was panting from expectation, her face was flushed and eyes glazed over.

Harry slowly walked towards Narcissa who squeaked as she saw him approach her.

"You don't have to, Harry." She shook her head frantically.

Harry raised an eyebrow. "And why is that?"

"Because…." She trailed off un able to find any answer. Harry nodded before he repeated the process. With in moments Narcissa found herself naked. Harry for a second time found his eyes filled with a sight that wouldn't be lost in heaven. Once again he lowered his lips and started peppering her with kisses slowly making his way to her pussy. Causing Narcissa to squirm under his touch.

"Tell me what you want, Cissa?" He questioned softly as continued simulating her.

"Pl...please." She moaned and arched her back trying to get him to get back to his activity. Harry didn't want to tease the girl that much and  just dipped his head down and started his ministrations. Narcissa was having the time of her life. She pushed his head further onto her pussy, enjoying his tongue.

The moment he spoke in parseltongue, her eyes rolled into the back of her head as she let out a loud moan before orgasming.

Harry smiled. Their expressions told him that they enjoyed doing this a lot.

"How was it?" He asked the beautiful blonde who was still shaking with pleasure. "So good." She moaned.

"I am glad, love." He pressed a kiss on his forehead." It's an hour past eleven. Let's get going. We have some things to buy, don't we?" He asked as he started dressing up. The girls followed suit, getting ready to leave for Hogsmeade.

---&&&----

James and Lily had escaped their friends and were now spending some alone time together. James was on top of the world. His school life goal was finally completed. Lily Evans out on a date with him her arms linked with his.

"Is there anywhere in particular that you want to go?" He asked as they walked around the village. She frowned for a second before answering.

"Madam Puddifoots." James blanched at her answer before turning towards her, his face grimacing and eyes wide in horror.

Lily couldn't hold back her laughter. She started laughing hard, holding her sides.

"Oh God, that was funny." She continued to laugh. "You should have seen your face, James." She chuckled as James playfully glared at the girl.

"Yeah yeah, laugh it up." He grumbled.

"Aww.  Come on James. It was a joke." She said as she kissed him on his cheek and he blushed a little before smiling.

James was about to respond when he suddenly felt that something was wrong. His animalistic senses told him that something was happening.

Lily watched James's face switch from carefree to calculating and alert.

"What is the matter, James?"

"Something is off." He pointed out and he felt a wave of magic wash over him. He recognised this feeling. The very same feeling that he had felt almost a year back in Diagon Alley when Harry had come to their help.

"Anti-apparition wards," James muttered as his wand slid into his hand. "We are under attack. Or at least I am." He said and sure enough, twenty hooded figures circled the two.

"Lily?" He whispered to the girl. "How good is your configuration and banishing charm?"

"Pretty good." She responded as she kept her eyes trained on the attackers.

James nodded. "Use lethal spells. They won't be using stunners." He said as he raised his wand.

True to his words two blasting curses headed their way. James immediately brought up his shield and watched as the spells bounced off harmlessly.

"Good." A hooded figure spoke out. "You know how to play."

James snorted as a bone breaker left his wand at blistering pace nailing one of the figures causing him to drop to the floor in pain.

"Do you know of the family I hail from? Of course, I know how to play. Perks of having a legendary father, brilliantly dangerous mother and an almost Merlin incarnate brother, though he would let hell freeze over before he accepted that." He swatted a bludgeoning curse back to its sender who was thrown away at a high force.

"I did know that. But then again, with that mudblood slut hanging on your arm, I can't say much about your ch….." He stopped as a hole was formed exactly in his abdomen. Blood started to flow out from it as the man's eyes widened as he dropped to the floor.

"You will not use such a term at Lily." He growled his brown eyes glowing slightly now looking positively menacing.

That started a full-on assault as spells flew around James and Lily, but the two started conjuring items and summoning rocks and strewn materials to intercept the curses.

Just when James decided to retaliate, a purple beam flew at top speed and hit his shield, and his eyes widened as the shield was blasted apart, causing both to them to be blasted back and thrown away in a heap.

James groaned and sat up, and his blood froze when he saw the red eyes that were causing terror all over Magical Britain.

"James Potter. Pleased to meet you." Voldemort said with a charming smile. His voice was almost raspy. Like a snake.

"Ahh. Tom. I did expect to see you, justt not this soon." James grinned inwardly as Tom's eyes clouded with rage.

"You dare?" He hissed.

James stood up slowly and held out his hand for Lily to take. He shrugged with a smile. "Probably not right now, but when you have a weapon behind your back, you tend to get cocky."

Tom cocked an eyebrow. He looked around and heard the Potter heir laughing.

"Do you find something funny, Mr Potter?" He questioned the boy curiously.

He didn't fear him. Now that was a first. Especially after his many activities. Activities that would make grown men wet their pants in fear.  'Guess all these Potters are fools.' Voldemort thought with a smirk. However

He had to admire the courage of the boy. Facing and laughing in the face of his death.

He looked around discreetly. He was hoping to meet the other Potter boy as well. But he was no where to be seen. He had hoped that the boy would show up. He wanted to check first-hand just what the boy was capable of.

He had initially assumed that his Death Eaters would be more than enough to deal with the Potter heir. His judgement could never have been more wrong. The boy had dispatched three of them very quickly and with ease.

"It's a shame, Mr Potter. Your family with my power could have done wonders. We could have been great. But you had to go and fight against us." Voldemort said as he shook his head somberly.

"Join me, Mr Potter. Your family would become great with my help." He softly spoke.

James started to chuckle like a lunatic.

"Harry was right. You are truly a lunatic. Do you have an inkling of the rich history my family possesses?" He questioned heatedly.

"Your so-called Slytherin line wasn't even established when my family was well respected and recognised in the country. What more can you give us? You, on the other hand, look like a person who needs a lot of help." He taunted the man.

The red eyes turned redder. Anger was palpable. "Very well. I sincerely hoped that I would be able to convince you, but that wasn't to be. I am sorry, but you will fall." And immediately, purple beams left his wand and raced towards James who intercepted it with the strewn rocks.

James quickly fired two bone breakers that the man calmly swatted away. He then transfigured the rocks into a wolf which raced towards Tom. A quick blasting curse left his wand.

Tom was impressed. For a sixteen-year-old, the boy was very good.

A wave of his wand and James's creation and his spells disappeared. James gulped. This man was dangerous.

'And he survived this monster at the tender age of fourteen.' James was in awe and pride for Harry.

'Sometimes, you don't understand how good you are, Harry.' He thought as he hastily conjured a shield.

Tom was about to throw a dangerous blood-freezing curse when a spell out of the blue struck him on his feet, and he stumbled as his knee snapped and fell. He was shocked and surprised at the same time. He looked in the direction of the spell and he could see Lily standing there with a severe expression on her face.

Lord Voldemort could accept a lot of things. But bested by a mudblood is not one of them. That too, if she has managed to draw first blood against him.

His anger now multiplied by ten fold as he stood up, his wand corrected his knee with a swish.

"You filthy mudblood!" He roared as he started to unleash a barrage of spells. Spells that were surely deadly enough to kill the person within a heartbeat.

Lily and James had now been cornered. They had nowhere to go and frankly, they could not take this barrage anymore.

"You dare hit a spell on me?" He roared and without thought, a spell left his wand effortlessly.

"Crucio!"

James watched Lily getting a spell through to the monster. He smiled as he saw the Dark Lord fall to his knees. But that smile disappeared when he saw the rage in his eyes.

He felt his brain go into overdrive as he saw the red bolt of the Cruciatus curse race towards Lily. He didn't think twice before jumping in front of the curse.

James screamed as the most painful curse known to mankind hit him head-on.

"James!!" Lily screamed as she saw him go down to a curse that was meant for her.

Before she could retort though a white flash was seen and the Dark Lord was thrown away a few feet by the spell.

She looked around and her relief was visible when she met another pair of brilliant green eyes. He was here. They were safe.

---&&&---

Harry smiled as he watched Narcissa and Bellatrix bicker about something irrelevant. They way they argued over inconsequential things made them look very cute in his eyes.

He did not know what he did to deserve these two beautiful women, but he was not complaining. These past few months had been the best of his life. Whenever he spent time in their company, he would feel in peace.

Their relationship had progressed very well. Both physically and mentally. Their intimacy had climbed up a few notches. The shy Harry who had no idea about women had all but disappeared. He had taken a leap of faith and indulged in a few activities that had taken the girls by surprise. Like the act this morning.

"Ok. You two can stop. My hair is not the topic of debate this time." He chuckled amusedly.

"But you look more handsome when you have let your hair free." Narcissa pouted.

"No. Shut up, you harpy." Bellatrix glowered at her sister.

"He looks fantastic when it's tied up."

Harry grinned.

"What if I take a haircut? It looked good before when I had short hair."

"No." The two of them screamed, attracting the attention of the other people around them.

"You will not cut such beautiful hair," Narcissa ordered. Bellatrix agreed to her readily.

Harry chuckled as he continued walking with the two. Happy that now they had some common ground.

He was about to say something when he heard screams and people running in their direction.

He was about to stop a person when a boy he remembered seeing vaguely in his class with the Hufflepuffs waved to him.

"Potter. You...your brother and the dark lord…." Harry didn't wait for him to complete. He started running towards where he thought his brother might be.

He was proud of how well his brother had managed to hold himself. But he could see that it was taking a toll on him.

He had just about reached them when he saw James being hit with a cruciatus.

His rage skyrocketed to the extreme and his wand moved extremely quick as his wind blast knocked the Dark Lord off his feet and threw him back into a wall.

Harry's eyes met Lily's tearful greens. Making his own softened as he said.  "Go and take him to safety. Don't hesitate to kill anyone if they try to interfere," Harry instructed the girl, who to her credit immediately acted on the instruction.

He then turned back to face the bane of his existence. The man who had taken away everything from him. The man who goes on to be the worst Dark Lord in centuries.

"Hello, Tom." Harry greeted casually, twirling his wand in his hand. The Dark Lord growled at Harry's mention of his birth name.

"You have been a bad boy, Tom. I had hoped that you would have sent me an invitation." Harry pointed out.

"Now, Harry. Where is the fun in that?" Tom asked casually.

"I wanted to meet you face to face for some time now, Harry. My Death Eaters just can’t stop singing your praises. So I did go the path that would get your attention promptly." Voldemort said in response to which Harry shrugged but didn't let his anger take control.

"How do you know about me, Harry?" Tom questioned curiously.

Harry chuckled. "You might think that it is Dumbledore, but I tend to stay away from the man. As much as possible." He explained.

"You really are a stupid son of a bitch." He shook his head ruefully.

"For a non-existent family, and a gift, you sure do have a big mouth and take pride in spouting that tongue of yours." Harry mocked.

"Do your men know the truth?" Harry continued underretted by Toms growing anger.

"A union of a squib, a muggle and a love potion…" Harry smirked as Tom screamed before a killing curse sailed his way.

A black butterfly intercepted his curse.

"Tch..impatient. You must be as calm as possible, Tom." Harry chastised.

Harrys eyes suddenly narrowed and a green fire burned in his eyes as he let his anger be displayed via his magic.

"You dare attack my brother?" He hissed and a purple bolt left his wand and Tom could only watch as five of his Death eaters behind him were reduced to blood and mist.

Tom whirled around to attack the boy when a solid punch connected to the left side of his jaw. Tom reared back as his jaw broke and spat blood on the ground.

He looked around and watched a number of students and locals watching him. Some even snorted behind their hands.

"I will kill you!" He roared. The two circled each other and Tom was the first to act.

"Crucio… Avada Kedavra…" he shouted as two beams, red and green, left his wand. Harry dodged and a flame whip left his wand that raced towards Tom. Tom slashed his wand and shot a jet of water that quelled the flame.

Harry was not idle. He conjured two metal spikes and banished them to the Dark Lord. A hastily erected shield prevented the man from being impaled.

Harry released a stream of water toward Tom who frowned in confusion.

Harry raised his wand to the sky and twirled the wand. Tom watched curiously and a rumbling sound was heard before a bolt of lightning struck hard on the ground.

Tom, who had the presence of mind to jump away, escaped but three other Death Eaters that stood behind him were electrocuted.

Tom raised his wand and chanted a few spells. A jet black cloud erupted from his wand and rushed towards Harry. Harry recognised this spell. It was a toxic cloud that rots everything in its path. Sure enough, Harry could see the grass on the land turn black. He turned his wand in a circular motion and the cloud shrunk and sizzled off with a hiss.

"Serpensortia," Harry smirked, his memory of the second year dueling club coming to the forefront of his mind.

Tom probably thought that he could scare the boy by speaking his tongue. Harry would have revealed his ability but thought otherwise.

He banished the snake and dodged three blood boiling curses. He fired back a blood clotting curse that Tom stepped away from.

Harry heard the pop of apparition but didn't pay mind. His peripheral vision confirmed the arrival of the Aurors.

Harry sent five curses in quick succession. A bone breaker, a decapitation curse, a blood-freezing curse, an entrail expelling curse and a lightning bolt.

He disappeared suddenly. Tom evaded the spells with haste, almost being hit by the spells. He was surprised when he saw the boy disappear. Imagine his surprise when the boy appeared out of nowhere and his left arm was hit with a bone breaker.

The Dark Lord hissed in pain, but before he could retaliate, Harry was gone.

He looked around and was about to turn when a cutting curse grazed his cheek.

Another bludgeoner caught him straight on and Tom wheezed when he felt the blow.

He coughed badly as he sat up, his condition too poor to fight anymore. He felt a little uneasy. This boy was very good. Too good. Mentally he applauded the talent of the boy. He could have made a great ally. He had underestimated the boy and had not gone all out from the start something the boy had taken advantage off. The same mistake wont be repeated but he did need to leave for now.

He stood up and watched on his shaky feet as the boy appeared.

The boy hadn't even broken a sweat. But he himself was worse for wear. His left arm was a mess, his face was cut at various places. His knee was still in pain from the blow of that mudblood.

Tom watched the Aurors arriving. This was humiliating. He had dominated magical Britain, striking fear and here he was being bested by a boy of sixteen.

'Its true. These Potters are really a powerful lot.' He thought finally understanding the hesitation of his followers. He understood why their family is equally feared and respected. However he knew that he will win. Fate itself had decreed it to be so.  He had already decided that he will rule Britain with an iron fist. To achieve that His first step would be to kill the Potters. Eradicating them from the face of the earth. Using their heads as a souvenir for his vision.

For now, he had to escape and regroup.

He would need to perform a few rituals to be ready. He was Lord Voldemort. He was immortal. He would always have his way.

He stood up and pointed his wand at the ground before chanting in Latin.

Harry watched as the ground cracked open and several pale and sickly looking hands raised themselves and it was followed as dead corpses climbed out of the cracks.

Harry was disgusted with this form of magic. He never wanted to resort to this. He had learnt about Necromancy. This was worse than necromancy. Something that is against the nature of magic itself.

Raising inferi is not something that many could do. It's not total necromancy. It was partially performed, using the casters' will to impose said will on the corpses to make them follow the caster beck and call. Deformed and cursed souls that die would rise as inferi. They were the epitome of evil.

Harry wasted no time. He waved his wand in a circle before slashing the ground. The ground began to shake before sharp shards of rocks rose from the ground, impaling the half dead corpses. The corpses stilled for a second before lighting up like torches.

Tom's eyes widened when he watched Harry use elemental spells.

Manipulating nature was not something one could do easily. Tom did try, but this field was not something that came easily to him. He knew a few who could do this kind of magic, but this type of control from one so young was unseen.

Before he could comprehend what was happening, the ground below him collapsed. He could not get caught. He could see the ground shaking once more before he took his portkey.

"Until next time, Mr Potter." He disappeared as a spell missed him and his portkey activated.

Harry surveyed his surroundings and only then did he lower his guard after confirming that they were safe.

He turned around and started walking back to the group of people that were watching him. He ignored the people from the ministry and walked straight towards his girlfriends his face set in a frown.

"I will be tying my hair for a week and letting it loose for a week." He shrugged casually delievering the result to end their debate. His words had a comically effect for the crowd who could not believe his nonchalance.

---&&&&----

"You all right, brother?" Harry crouched down next to his still shivering brother.

"Sorry I wasn't quick enough."

"Are you crazy?" James stuttered with surprise. "You were right there on time. You were amazing." He pointed out excitedly.

"That man is a monster, Harry. You just made him look like a toddler." James answered.

"The boy is right, lad." A gruff voice spoke from behind as a group clad in red approached them.

"Alastor Moody." The lead man spoke. Harry was frankly surprised by this man. He still had his leg and eyes. He was paranoid, yes, but he didn't look like anything as he had seen him as.

"We have met." Harry nodded.

"Where did you learn these things, kid?" Moody growled.

Harry shrugged. "Here and there. Moreover, I am not going to just answer your questions, am I?" He questioned the man.

"But you have to." Another voice and Harry identified Barty Crouch.

"You have a lot of things to account for, Mr Potter." He pointed out, his mustache twitching as ridiculously as he had known.

"For what? Doing your job?" Harry snapped at the man, his temper rising.

"I am not a meek boy that will let you walk over me due to the red robes your men are wearing, Mr Crouch. You better watch your tone with me." Harry warned his voice cold as he went on the offensive.

"Where the fuck were you when my brother was being attacked? Was he not important enough to save? You had the nerve to arrive after all the things had been handled and still have the audacity to demand answers from me?" Harry softly asked them his chilling voice causing crouch to light shiver.

The man and his group had the decency to look ashamed. "He is right Barty. He only defended the others. He is not our priority." Edgar Bones nodded at Harry who responded with a nod of his own.

"But his use of magic…." Crouch tried to say.

"Saved many lives today, Barty." Moody interrupted. "Though, I am curious, where did you learn such magic, lad?"

Harry shrugged but didn't answer.

"You are an interesting person, Lord Peverell." Moody nodded.

"You don't see it do you?" Harry questioned the group.

"He underestimated me. He thought that we were mere school kids. He thought we could be pushed over. He forgot who he was dealing with." Harry whispered.

"Next time, he would be more dangerous. He would be ready for me. He will be coming exclusively for me. He will not stop until he kills me and makes my death his proving point among these people who laughed at him." Harry muttered.

"Now if you excuse me, I have two beautiful ladies to get back to and no offense, you are not as attractive as them." He smiled at the snorts he heard and walked back to Bellatrix and Narcissa.

----&&&&-----

James let out a sigh as his friends left him with his brother. Harry watched them go before turning back to him, his eyes laced with concern and worry etched on his face.

"You sure you are all right, James?" Harry asked.

James nodded. "My body spasms from time to time, but you heard Poppy. She says that there is no problem. I am fine, Harry." James grinned.

"Is the headmaster back?" Dumbledore had been called away to an important ICW meeting and Tom had made sure to choose a day when the Headmaster would not be able to interfere.

"Not yet." Harry shook his head.

"I have managed to hold back Mum from marching down to this place. She was livid and scared. Damn that woman is vicious when she is angry." Harry grimaced as he remembered the floo call he had made from the Deputy's office.

James chuckled. "Yeah. She is scary." He murmured.

"What about you?"

Harry smirked.

"I am made of sterner stuff, brother. He had to be over 9000 to lay a hit on me." He pointed out dramatically.

James snorted as Harry patted his shoulder and left.

"You are so close to the truth, Harry. You are really made of sterner stuff."

James closed his eyes and tried to rest before he heard a noise. He was instantly up and had his wand trained, but he relaxed when he saw who it was.

"Lily?" He was surprised to see the girl crying. She tried to hide it, but her eyes were puffy and red.

"Are you crying?" In response to his question  He was gathered into a tight hug and the girl began crying once more. James, although confused, didn't pull away. He just held the girl as she cried.

"You took a curse for me?" She choked.

"A cruciatus curse, just for associating with me." She swallowed her pain.

James shook his head as he pulled the girl onto the seat next to his bed.

"He would have done the same even if I had not been involved with you, Lily. It was just bad timing and my instincts. Any other day, I would have conjured something, but when I saw the spell sailing towards you, I couldn't hold myself back." He answered.

"And my family is a target, Lily. It's not for associating with you. We are a family that attracts enemies. So, our stands were against him and he would surely have attacked. If not today, but someday for sure." He explained.

Lily stared at him strangely. "Are you not regretting taking me out?"

James soon his head very quickly.

"Never." Lily smiled. "Good. It would have made my next actions look crazy."

She leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. James's hands instinctively went to her waist. The two let go after a while, though both seemed reluctant to do so.

"That was to save me from a painful curse." She whispered.

"And I hope that I am welcome to place many more kisses like that?" She questioned him with a nervous smile.

James never looked so happy then at that moment.

"I would like that." He smiled. Lily placed a chaste kiss on his lips.

"Get some sleep tonight. You need it." She smiled as she got up and left waving to him.

James laid back, a content smile on his face. "I kissed Lily Evans." He whooped joyfully and passed into sleep as the potions caught up to him.

----&&&------

"It's fine Mum. I am alright now. The pain is gone." James groaned as his mother started to fuss over him.

Harry was grinning like a loon as he watched his mother fussing over James.

"Git." James glowered as he noticed his smug expression of Harry.

"Mr Potter?" The matron of the hospital wing gathered his attention.

"The Headmaster is here and he wants to speak to you." Harry nodded.

He turned back to his family.

"I guess he wants to know what happened. I'll be back soon." He nodded to his father and uncle kissing his mother on her cheek.

James teared up slightly as he watched him go. "What's wrong, son?" Dorea questioned, alarmed at her son's behavior.

"I was there. I faced that son of a bitch. I would have been killed. Without him even trying." James explained.

"But for him. I have never seen something like that in my life." He whispered, his voice still holding traces of awe.

"He was so good. He toyed with the man. Toyed with him like a fully grown wizard was toying with an eleven-year-old boy. The magic he was using, I fully doubt that some of our professors could do it." James explained.

"Here I am, an heir of one of the most powerful families. A warrior family. I have known magic all my life. Yet, when he came calling, I was useless. I barely made it through. I would have been dead if he was not here." James pointed out.

"Imagine an orphan, not knowing anything about his family, his powers, and being abused most of his life, no proper training and standing in front of that man. He said he barely escaped. Even yesterday, he said that this was not the man's full power and he would be difficult to defeat, although he was running circles around him." James pointed out.

"I feel ashamed that he had to face all of that. I feel disappointed that I could not be there for him. Yesterday just made it all the more difficult." He sniffed.

"But sometimes, I thank every voice overhead. I thank every factor and entity in this world for sending him here. The way he gels with everyone shows very little about the scared and lonely young boy he had grown up to be. I only hope that he can finally be free of the burden that is placed upon him. And I will make sure to stand next to him and help him as much as possible. It's a promise."

Dorea was deeply touched by her son's words. She knew her son was a wonderful boy, and though he took less note in seriousness, she was proud of the boy her son was growing up to be.

His words brought a smile to her lips.

"Never have I seen something like that in my life. I don't think the two were fighting at full power. Yet, I was blown away."

He whispered.

"I'll give you a memory, dad. That might help you." He said.

"Harry said another thing."

"He said that now, we will be more frequent targets than ever. Harry says that the bastard will try to kill our family off and further his vision. With us out, he can have a souvenir of sorts to scare and sway the Wizarding World. Please start using war wards on our property, dad. You too, Uncle." He addressed the older men.

Charlus was the one who spoke first.

"Will you give me a memory, son?"

James nodded. " I would have suggested that myself." He said and Charlus walked up to his son and held his wand to his temple.

"We will be leaving, son. If Edgar had not assured your mother here with Harry, she would have stormed the castle last night." Charlus laughed, causing his wife to blush lightly.

"Take care, James." She kissed him on his forehead and left with her husband and brother.

James sat up from the bed and stretched once more. He was about to stand when another person entered the chamber. James couldn't help but grin smugly as he watched Lily walk up to him.

"What are you smirking at?" She questioned curiously.

"I finally managed to bag the unapproachable Lily Evans. The same Lily Evans who hexed me in my second year for telling her that we belong to each other.

I knew it all along, Lily. We are Romeo and Juliet, you know. Their reincarnation." She raised her eyebrows.

"Romeo and Juliet ended up dead, James." Lily deadpanned.

James froze for a second.

"Ah...never mind. It's the feeling that matters, not the result." He preached knowingly.

Lily smiled fondly at the boy.

"You and your stupid theories." She shook her head.

"If I didn't know that you would be of some use, I would have not given my time of the day, Potter." She raised her head in mock superiority.

James smiled. "What about now?" He questioned.

"I will keep you around. You did take a curse for me." She pointed out.

She leaned forward and kissed him slowly but was immediately interrupted by a gentle cough. Poppy was watching the two with barely contained amusement, causing the two to blush.

"I would advise that you keep all these things out of the hospital wing, Mr Potter. Ms Evans." She said.

"Now stay still while I will do a checkup. If you are fine, then it's time you are discharged, Mr Potter." She then proceeded to wave her wand over him, muttering under her breath.

"You are fine, Mr Potter. But please don't hesitate to come to me as soon as you feel any kind of discomfort." The matron said, narrowing her eyes, daring him to disagree.

James gave a hasty affirmation and rushed out of the wing with his girlfriend being pulled with him.

"Come in, Mr Potter." Harry rolled his eyes at his dramatics, but couldn't stop a smile forming on his lips. Same old goat.

He knew that the man would surely speak to him. He thought he would be called the first thing after he arrived.

"Please sit down." Harry shrugged before taking a seat.

"I just watched a memory of the fight, Mr Potter." Dumbledore sighed, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"I just want to thank you." He replied, surprising Harry.

"Your actions have helped save numerous lives that would surely be in a dangerous position due to him." He explained.

"This brings me to my next question,

Mr Potter. Why is the man interested in you? How do you know of his life?"

Harry didn't answer. He just sat staring at the old man who stared right back.

Dumbledore confirmed that the boy won't say a thing.

He was about to retort when the boy spoke.

"I don't trust you."

Dumbledore was surprised.

"I don't understand."

"I don't trust you, headmaster. You have not done anything worth respecting for me to trust you explicitly." Harry said.

"I don't believe a single second that you are a meek and kind grandfather man that you show yourself to be. I know for a fact how manipulative you can be when you need to." He added.

He stood up as stared coldly at the old man.

"Secrets can be a good thing, Dumbledore, as long as it is holding the world and people together. If not, a secret can be the worst possible thing that a man can hold in his heart. In your short sight, you have decided to yourself that your secrets are world-saving. That is a huge mistake. Correct it as soon as possible."

He turned back and walked out of the room, leaving a stunned old man for the umpteenth time.
