The Scope of The Seven Realms (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd write a quick post to let you all know the scope of what we have planned for The Seven Realms. We've spoken about this on Discord, but I thought it might be useful to have an official post detailing it.

The Seven Realms will be a total of Seven episodes.

We will be referring to each of these episodes as a Realm.

In our current plan, each Realm will have around 10 - 13 updates.

We will always aim to release new content regularly while we are in the process of releasing updates for any given Realm.

Between Realms, there will be a gap of around two months without a new release. There are a few reasons for this:

• To take a short break of a week or so to prevent us from burning out.
• To get ahead with the writing of future Realms to ensure that we never experience any significant delays in development.
• To code various parts of the next Realm to assist us with keeping to our regular updates while we’re in the process of releasing a Realm.
• To create the first update of the next realm.
• To prepare the previous Realm for release on Steam. We’re currently planning to release these on there as individual Realms.

So during the time between Realms, we'll still be working on The Seven Realms. We just won’t be releasing new updates during this time.

We’ve planned effectively, and we’re both very passionate and enjoy working on this project. However, we know that life happens, and some things are out of our control. We're both still working full-time jobs, and even if we're lucky enough to work from home, things may change.

If there are ever any significant changes to our releases, we will communicate this as soon as possible.

I can confirm that Realm 1 will have a total of 11 updates. We plan to release Update 8 on 23-24 July.

Thanks to all of you who are supporting us on here. It honestly means a lot! We hope we can continue growing to make this game as high quality as possible. Our long-term goal is for at least Tae to be able to work on this full-time, so we truly value every one of you that is generous enough to support us or be a part of this community.
