Stella's Story Part 2 (Patreon)

So, after she discovered the tapes with her dad's interview, she became obsessed with the case. Stella broke into the serial killer's apartment to check it out, only to find out that someone (who?) is actually living there. She found an old coin which is a connection of the serial killer with a very rich and prominent family (So far, the thought process is that Campbell wasn't really a serial killer but someone who kidnap women for human traffic and this big family was behind it). Following some other leads, she found this prostitute who supposedly talked to Adrian years ago about the case. Her name is Amber and despite the time that had pass since, she looked really young. Amber told Stella about a place called The Underworld, where all the legends about the mold people who lived underneath NY originated. Stella has a couple of names, maybe they are all the same place: The Underworld, The Citadel and specially Metropolis. Adrian was also after this place. Stella hired a guide to take her underneath the city. And here's another important thing: she found another tape at Campell's apartment. In this tape, Adrian found the bodies that Campbell... transmuted into something else. There's only audio, but she knows by the echo that it's underground.

On top of all that, she is having dreams with Campbell and Adrian. Campbell said that Adrian chose to cross the river of dead and left her alone.

Now, this is not a vampire story. If you know Kult (a very cult RPG setting), you maybe already know what Metropolis is all about. I don't know that much about the setting, but I know it is really dark. I think Metropolis is another plane of existence, a decayed one that is overlapped with ours. You can't see it, but you can access it through the citadel, or the underworld, where she is going.
