Yesterday I started a chronicle playing as Stella, Acheron (Adrian)'s daughter. For now, she is a human. No plans for changing that so soon. I already wrote her background and posted here on patreon. It was a short story last night, but I'm already curious to know the rest. At the way to her grandma's house, she met a man (Sam) who used to work with her father at the same journal. He keept a box with Adrian's belongings after he past away. Sam send his - very cute - son to deliver the box to Stella's house and Stella started to dig into it. She found the notes of her father's last case. He interviewd a serial killer. JC murthered ten woman, but Adrian tought that the case didn't end there. He tought this man was connected to a big organization with big names that deal with some dark stuff such as human traffic. In his notes he especulated that JC was a scape goat for them. Of course Stella is planning to talk about this guy on her true crime podcast, and she intend to use her father's tapes interviwing the guy! My storyteller even wrote some parts of it adapted from a Nick Cave's song. Love it.

Adrian: You said you believe in God. But as I was coming here today, I watched someone falling in the street, then he gestured to his neighbours, trampled beneath their feet. All his outward motion connects to nothing for each one is concerned with their immediate need, no one sees, no one cares. God is absent even in this little shame, this simple need.

JC: Oh, when will you ever learn that what happens there beyond the glass window is simply none of your concern? God has given you but one heart, you are not a home for the hearts of your brothers. And God does not care for your benevolence anymore than he cares for the lack of it in others. Nor does he care for you to watch in judgement of the world He created, while sorrows pile up around you, my dear Adrian.
