OK, so... My rehab has been approved. I will get notified when to go by the facility. There is a serious downside though. It is a facility that does not provide internet for its patients, is in a seriously remote location. We're talking 20 Minute drive to the next store.

So here is what I will do: I will download a good chunk of stories as epub files into my tablet and take my Laptop to rehab, simply because I am unsure if, in a remote location like that, there will be any cell service.

I will obviously, not be able to upload during that time, however, rest assured that I will upload the bulk of it once I return.

It is also not the same facility I was at before. This one is roughly 4,5 hours away from where I live and so it would be even more unfeasable to drive home on the weekends to upload stuff since it would be a 9 hour round trip. That would mean refueling the car at least once per trip which, at current gas prices, would be around 100 Euros.

I do not make enough through YouTube, Patreon or my sick pay to be able to afford this.

Even as it is right now, I was forced to sell some of my posessions to pay for my bills. Can't keep doing that for much longer, and I already know that rehab will also cost me a few hundred in fees. (Most is covered by my health insurance, but here in germany you have to pay a certain amount each day yourself. On its own not too bad, but if you have to stay for an extended period of time, that is a serious issue)

I might be able to get rid of some more non-essential stuff, but as is, one of the few things I have left are my Laptop (which I use for recording and editing my audio books), my cellphone, Tablet and my gaming rig, which I use for my streams and gameplay videos, as well as some other projects)

As is, I will continue to produce content for as long as I can, and I am aware that this post comes across as if I am begging for money. Make no mistake here, I am certainly not. I am more than aware that my content is sub par and that not a lot of people actually watch what I do. I am also aware that YouTube is just a hobby and will never be able to pay for my bills.

I am not asking for anything but your understanding in the case I am rendered unable to continue to produce content in the future. If that were to happen, rest assured that I would close this account and make all of you aware before I do so.

As always, sincerely yours
