So... It has come to this. Today I had to leave work early, because I was dizzy, my left ear stopped working after an intense rush of blood, and I felt as if I was walking on clouds.

One of the nurses I work with sat me down and meassured my blood pressure. The result was 160/95, with a pulse of 92. She ordered me to go, sit down and drink something. She was very insistant about that.

Then my head nurse arrived at work, and I told him what had happened. He told me to finish my patients and go to the doctor. I did this, but at a way slower pace than what I am usually used to. All the time I was sweating harder than ever before, gasping for air half the time at the smallest strain.

In the end, my doctor checked my BP again and it was 140/100 and a few minutes later, when he checked again, 125/80. In other words, my BP is all over the place.

I have an appointment tomorrow for a long term BP measuring. Right now, I feel like my chest is caught in a vice that is slowly tightening. Not pleasant. I had planned to edit today... but we'll see if I am up to it later today...

I am sincerely sorry.
