I came to conclusion that there are enough various effects and rules for now and I will work on gameplay and balance to make the game more entertaining. As you could see there are also a lot of bugs I need to chase around especially with the more exotic characters (I see Fertilina and Bloberina deserve a lot of work, possession is not finished at all).

I need also some break from the hell of sequence dependent events, so I decided I will work on graphics and interface for some time now. I found a person who will help me with the sprites and I will rework the world, the way it is put together from layers, add weather and other effects that may not have direct impact on gameplay, but in the end may make the game much more pleasant. I still need to decide how to continue with the patrons and whether to introduce another tier of patronage that would be a bit more (2-3 Euros instead of 1), because I need to pay for the graphics. Below is a first prototype of autogenerated landscape. It is better than the original artwork and all the decoration is also autogenerated (decoration items, patches of different ground types, trails and shadows), so it should be relatively easy to replace the mayhem mode maps with better ones. Later one as I get more landscape options I will rework at least some of the original maps with better quests and characters. 

As you could see I already started with improvement of animations of the effects, I would like to add spellcasting and spell expiring animations and overall move this piece of prototype towards more complete looking game.

I have a suggestion on what you can do for the possession mechanic. Right now, ghosts will usually stop you in your tracks and prevent you from doing anything for multiple turns. Rather than having the possession stop you in your tracks, why not have possession work similar to the body stealer mechanics. Ghosts could possess the specific body part they are assigned to. They could then grow, shrink, or cause the player to grope their body part. If the player doesn't have the body part, then the possession will cause them to grow it. Possession could also be changed to be fought off by using the possessed body part. For example, if the player's boobs got possessed, then the player must use their boobs on enemies in order to drive the ghost out or even defeat them. If you do it like that, it would make the new mechanics significantly more unique. Regardless, good luck on the game!

This is a good idea! From all I got it seems I will need to make several types of ghosts. I tested it a bit more today and got stuck in a loop for many turns. I will need to fix that quickly.
