53:35 - Point here perfectly dovetails with liberal totalitarianism. Liberal assumptions are so deeply ingrained even within "far leftists" or communists who consider liberals their greatest enemies that the mildest skepticism to rapid social change is considered right wing extremism. They think that total and absolute "freedom of self expression" is the natural way to live (based in some vague sense of primitive communism in Neolithic/Paleolithic ancestors) and anything else is a fascist imposition.
