re: MUDs and oldschool MMOs I had a very weird experience with one a few years ago, it was almost like making contact with an extraterrestrial being, very esoteric. It was late at night and I found one of those fake old Windows OSes that run on the browser, it had one Dwarf Fortress-like MMO (everything was made out of ASCII characters) you could play, along with other tools like online chat and whatsoever. I thought it was empty so I logged on and started exploring and suddenly some player greeted me and showed me around, they were very friendly and excited someone was playing it, too. GPT-3 wasn't around yet, I think, so it felt very real and I felt weirded out and had to leave for some other reason. I wonder how they ended up there, it feels otherworldly but yet the old web was just like that a few decades ago. PS: Runescape gang wy@

I don't know why DF has to constantly justify her presence or why people make her. I understand the qualms about kind of "content mining" right spheres but she's not exposing people or anything. She's a cultural journalist that actually is one of the few people living up to the title and does interesting research into the turn of the millennium that flew by all too fast. Don't see why people think that's worthless

Hes like a god taking material form shattering the illusion of reality. Its like a 4th wall shattering a.i. that injects a virus into the system. Its amazing With all this discussion on the internet I think his videos are uber fascinating Before exploring this subject i thought it was funny to laugh at people getting mad But now its an enlightening and grounding experience to touch base with reality and to take a peak at the desert of the real Edit: after watching it, its like going to a segregated ghetto the elites have thrown souls into and its actually quite scary and chilling.
