Technical info on my canvas and brushes (Patreon)

Hi! Here's a breakdown of some of the technical info behind my drawings and more detailed look into the brush I use! The program I draw with is Clip Studio Paint, personally I like it a lot and it's pretty low budget to get, too. 

I'm pretty simple all in all so when I find a brush I like, I use it almost exclusively for everything, and the Pencil R with minor customizations has been my go-to since.... last spring I think? The CSP asset store is great as well, for example I've gotten free 3D models of furniture and stuff from there if I just need something quick for the background, and you can just spin the model around on your canvas to get the right perspective and there you have an accurate reference!

One thing to add to the canvas size as well, is that even if the image is only ever meant to be exported as a smaller image, it can still be beneficial to do the work on a big canvas! All the detail you can pack in with a bigger canvas will show in the exported image, even if they're not as crisp or high quality.

I can only talk from my perspective and on the things I use, and I definitely don't know most things that are possible with the program, so I highly recommed looking up tutorials from the CSP site itself or from other creators, there's a lot of good tutorial videos on youtube for example! 

(I always feel like Hinata from HQ trying to explain how he plays, with like SWOOSH!! and BAM!! instead of words when I try to explain my drawing process... I don't actually KNOW a lot or if what I do is technically correct or the most efficient way, I just do stuff based on how I feel it might work, like.... SWOOSH! BAM!!!! KABOW!!!!)
