I might have a problem with sketching nothing but floating torsos.

Nothing wrong with floating torsos! I love the color you used in the second sketch. I don't know why it surprises me when artists sketch in different colors XD

im curious, when you are doing these kind of sketches, are you working off references? or is this just literally all floating in your mind? Cause uh, this is kind of amazing, i don't think i'd know where to start if i was to just go without references for practice. It's really interesting to see the volume you apply...but also HONK HONK LOTS OF SPICY VERY NICEEEE~

I'll be honest, just for lose sketches like this I don't purposfully look at refs. That comes into play when I wanna really polish something! The two pages here were done some time apart so you can kinda see the shift in me trying out different styles, I'd say it depends on mood or if I've been particularly enamoured by some other artist's stuff that day or if I noticed some new muscle that I realized I've never noticed before.

You are an art monster, cause like I can not image just...going and doodling randomly on a page xD Perhaps it's just my knowledge bank on anatomy isn't that great, but yeah the fact you do these just to play around in a way, is just...wow i honestly dont know how to feel xD
