Is this the fable of the Elf and the Worm? The one where the Nave Elf gets lost, naked, in the dark damp Delve cave and asks the nice Elf eating worm for help getting out of the cave. Of course, he has to use his tongue to pick her up because he has no hands to help her to the exit.

Some say that the Worm is taking too many liberties with the Elf that it is helping to the "exit". Personally, I do not think he is taking enough.
