Man, I lived off those things, back in the day! I somehow believed that oatmeal, formed into a brick using copious amounts of sugar, had to be healthy.

Wait, are you trying to say granola bars AREN'T the epitome of healthy snack food? Blasphemy! Interested to see where this is going with Bree and Betrys. It would be hilarious if Bree's just trying to give her platonic belly-scritches and her sister is misinterpreting things. Also, I take it the "magic backpack" basically contains an infinite supply of whatever Jen happened to have in it? That would certainly be interesting.

Ah... to be fair to the granola bar folks, Langoliers will eat *anything* and *everything* they get their teeth around, including reality itself. So nice to see Bree being friendly to the nice rabbit lady... I hope she stays friendly, her last run in with rabbit folks was exciting in it's own way, but not friendly.

When we find out what the Golden Bank of Delywyn wants from the Elves, Bree might tell the Goblin to make "Rabbit-On-A-Stick", but only as a negotiation technique for a better interest rate from the bank.

Bree just started negotiation of a new line of credit. (The more interesting this gets, the lower the interest rate ... ;-)

The way I imagine it, the backpack is a kind of extension of the "Found" where she acquired it. It tries to be helpful, and, since Paige packed the bag with things she thought might be useful that she found in Jen's apartment, it figures that she might not want to run out of those things. It also helped Miko find her old ceremonial vestments that she had "lost" somewhere along the way.

Yeah, I had to look up the publishing date on that story to see if it fit within Jen's time frame. I really wanted to make that joke.
