I hear you. It would be nice if they could all pull through, but that seems unlikely. A lesson to enjoy the good things and people in our lives, they can disappear so quickly and all too often there is nothing we do.

Kel is dying from the battle with her now-deceased creator, and Lassa was also damaged from her contact with Bad Bree's hand. (Lassa forms the handle of the heart blade) Now Lassa and Moonblade are in danger of going down with the ship, so to speak. I hope that makes sense.
