Well, this is my first ever interactive game, so I'm sure there will be bugs and typos and the like, but I had a lot of fun working on it, and I'm really looking forward to reading your feedback. I've uploaded it to my new itch.io page, and you can access it (hopefully) via the secret link below:

 https://necrovert.itch.io/dragon-mountain?secret=AHfmkuaX3mOL94xKma91vUVov10

It should run in any browser, but if anyone would prefer, I can upload PC and Mac versions to the Shadowvault. Just let me know.

Please let me know what you think of it or if you have any problems accessing it!

And, if you want to take a closer look at all the art files I used to build the game, you can find them here:

not working on chrome for me ;(

Ghostdragon

Absolutely love it~ Wonderful little perils. I do make a slight gripe about there not being a snake with a full stomach image or more swallowing images. But that's just me being a goof. Great job no less!

Reiver Horse

Works great on Firefox and wow! That was a lot of fun. :) I loved exploring every option and outcome - would love to see others like this in the future!

Weird..comment didnt post? Was a lot of fun and great scenarios. Was very creative :) Curious what you used to make the mini-game?

So, my first playthrough was a speedrun to the dragon's belly, which was cute, but way too short, and it would have been nice to have an 'ending splash' of the character being devoured. The second playthrough though, I managed to get (mostly) free of my clothing and received a proper end splash when the dragon 'saved' me from some vines in the swamp so as to be the one to devour me. Edit: I tried again and got the proper ending for the 'speed run'. Delightful!

I can't get it to work. Boxes with asian letters pop up and it's just black screen :(

Sorry to hear that. I've uploaded PC and Mac versions to the folder here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0k9sqviu1ftkoeu/AACMUgl_jRPm4TSY8fgVnPZIa?dl=0

Ah, that would have been a good idea! Sorry! I'll throw an extra snake bulge in this month's sketchbook!

It's a visual novel creator called "Tyranobuilder" that I picked up a while back. It was fun to work with but pretty restricted in what you can do with it, it seems. Not sure I'll use it again, but it was very easy to learn.

I did find this one on Steam. I also found a Visual Novel Maker on Steam, although that one seemed to be much more expensive. Seemed to have varied reviews, with some people saying it was harder to learn than RPG Maker!

Classical Salamander

Awesome game! Tons of fun, good music, and so many different paths to The End! <3

Loved this game, can't wait for the next one! How about for your next interactive game... Do's and Dont's in the Delve, which dungeon will you choose and which dungeon will choose you? How about one where you can choose between Chef Jakaali or the Delveers that meat him. Out smart Chompus, or don't. Paraxyss School of Cuisine, What ingredients will you choose and how will you prep and present your dish?

Heh heh, I'm looking forward to doing my next game, but not sure what I'm up for trying next. Maybe some sort of 2d simple dungeon game or something.

Huh, lost my reply, so sorry if this is a repost... I actually got to the end of my outline for this game and then realized that I hadn't put in any "good" endings, so I put in the "flatter the dragon" ending as kind of a joke. 8)

2023-03-23 00:09:43 A few days late but thought I 'd comment. Loved it, enjoyed all the different endings. Artwork was very nice, and the music fit the game perfectly. Each scene was great, and it's a small thing but I really liked the little descriptive details you add in the writing, like the sound of the leather cords creaking or light filtering through the forest leaves covered in spider's silk. I must thank you for making this, was having a bit of a stressful week before and this really helped turn things around. Thanks again, and I look forward to your next project! Also, this has rekindled my interest in making a game like his myself - I do have all these game-making tutorials saved away for awhile now. I'm thinking something similar to Ghosts & Goblins might be promising...

Also, let us know if you come up with a game. We'd love to see it!

2023-03-30 07:29:27 Will do! Other ideas included an original Doom-style game or alternately rebuilding some 1st & 2nd Ed. D&D Dungeons in Unreal Engine.
