Guys what in the world was this random 2nd couple scene LOL. Actually how does the director actually visualize all these random scenes, string them together in a web of terrible transitions, and then feel proud of how tasteless this sometimes-fruity cracker story is??? I really have a love-hate relationship with this series LOL. It's just not good. But I'll definitely see y'all for next week's episode LMAO.

I knew I wasn't crazy and being too harsh. Even the only thing the show has going for it, the NC scenes, get dragged down and it's too hard to appreciate in such an incompetently directed, written, and edited story. We endured all that slow pace in the beginning for too long, just to now get all this jumpiness and laziness in the story movement and scene placement. Characters are behaving without any memory of or logic following one episode to the next, if they're even getting screentime at all. Why are we putting more thought into the music and mood than literally anything else that matters the most? It's such a shame, and I'd go even further than blaming the director, the author deserves to burn too, who did the screenplay and produced or something too. Just criminal. The good? I forget to breath sometimes looking at Ashi. First is so beautiful, lol. Face is serving, the styling is hitting. And I had to rewatch the part of the love scene where we see mostly his back as he slow rides Ja SEVERAL TIMES. His back! And Ja's hands all over it, holding their bodies together. A perfect few seconds. Maybe David Bigander should just go direct porn, lmao! The only directing he's good at. There are still 4 more episodes left though, so still plenty left to give us more of First's radiance, more wild random NC, and even more ridiculous reasons to laugh at the series. So I'll be here. We shall be entertained. And while we don't know if JaFirst are splitting up (and Ja would want to think again if he really believes he can do better in the industry on his own, and before he dumps First who will quickly get snapped up into another pairing), they both, whether separately or still together, definitely need a better agency. A shake-up is needed in their management, because they should only be getting quality work, proven directors and material.

That second couple scene was basically the director throwing it in while editing bc he realised this shit is bad and he tried to at least keep the yaoi fans happy 💀 but tbh I would watch a train wreck if First was in front of it, I mean he almost made Remember me bearable 🤡

This series reminds me a lot of how I feel about Grease 2..objectively it’s just not good but for some unknown reason I just really like it😂

I feel bad for the second couple. Their realtionship doesn't seem to get any attention, but they still inserted a random (but hot) s** scene?

This feels harsh to say, but I'm genuinely just baffled at this point. It feels like they said "it's okay, people will watch it even if it's bad, because it's JaFirst" and yes, we will watch it for them, we just won't feel particularly happy about it. This series could have been SO GOOD, but the writing is awful, Ja and First actually look kind of uncomfortable/confused (Ja in particular), and they (the writer/director) really missed a big opportunity to have another hit show with this couple. However, it's so poorly written that even our boys can't save it. We can't even appreciate the NC scenes because what the fuck? am I meant to feel invested in this second couple? (I do actually feel really bad for them, they kind of feel neglected and really skipped over) and what's with the timing of the NC scenes? *buying groceries* *FUCKING IN A HOTEL ROOM BARK WOOF CHOKE* *biking along the beach and stopping to feed the orphans* *skips merrily in to the sunset* I want these boys to get a better agency, to be given a good script, and to SHINE. They all have so much going for them, and so much potential, but it feels like their company is squandering them.

If I forget the bad premise, and how badly executed a story this is, I have to admit... their love scene starting from the upside-down kiss, was GORGEOUS. Stunning. And by itself, maybe the best bl love scene Ive seen right next to the LITA and HOS Korn/Pawin love scenes. And Cutie Pie, lol. It's so romantic and intimate. The JaFirst magic is still real. And the best love scene song I think I've heard in a bl. I had to come back and post about it just because I've rewatched it a thousand times now, the warm melted feeling it gives me has been soothing to my nerves since Monday, lol. And it's not the last one, so maybe they'll even top it before the end. What I would do for Mame to get her hands on them again. I swear, their next project better be worthy of them, and happen soon. They DESERVE to be on top for their talent and teamwork. Their fit still hits the spot.
