Hey Patrons!

Just wanted to share a special TED-Ed moment with you!

Last week, Anika Paulson, a TED-Ed Club Member, had her Talk published on TED.com, and we couldn't be prouder! The TED-Ed Clubs program encourages students to discover their passions and helps them present their ideas to the rest of the world.

Of the over 4,000 Clubs that exist in over 120 countries, Anika joined a Club in the music classroom of Fridley High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota (pictured above). We saw her original Talk (Check it out on our TED-Ed Clubs Youtube page) and invited her to speak at our student-only event, TED-Ed Weekend. The TED curation team saw her give her Talk and then invited Anika to speak on the main stage at TED2017 in Vancouver.

(Anika, getting in some last minute practice before going on stage at TED2017)

Our Clubs program is only a few years old, so this marked a major milestone for us, and we hope it paves the way for us to share the stories, ideas and perspectives of many more students from every corner of the world.

And just so you know, your support is part of what allows us to bring student speakers from varying backgrounds and countries, and put them all on the same stage here at the TED Headquarters for TED-Ed Weekend. Check out this playlist for a look at some of the student speakers we've hosted so far!

Thank you again for all your support!
