- Updated. v1.1 -
Barbarians who walk the Path of the Lycanthropy have tapped into an ancient primal power, evoking the spirits of werecreatures or having been tainted by lycanthropy itself. These barbarians can harness the power of the beast within, even if they aren't true lycanthropes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lycanthropic Transformation

Upon choosing this path at 3rd level, when you rage, you can embrace the primal beast within, morphing into a hybrid lycanthropic form. In this transformed state, the strength and agility of the creature you emulate become yours, and your own raw physical power is enhanced. You are proficient with your unarmed strikes in this form. Depending on the beast you channel, you gain different benefits:

Wolf's Cunning. Your instincts become razor sharp. While raging, opportunity attacks against you are made with disadvantage. Your maw becomes a weapon, enabling you to make a bite attack as an action or bonus action using your Strength for the attack and damage rolls. On a hit, this bite deals 1d6 piercing damage.

Bear's Fortitude. The tenacity of a bear seeps into you. While raging, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level at the start of each of your turns. Additionally, your powerful claws become weapons in their own right. You can make a claw attack as an action or bonus action using your Strength for the attack and damage rolls. On a hit, this claw attack deals 1d6 slashing damage.

Raven's Flight. The mysterious power of the raven offers you brief bursts of aerial agility. While raging, as a bonus action, you can gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed until the start of your next turn, but you must end your turn on the ground or fall. Your sharpened talons become formidable weapons. You can make an unarmed strike as an action or bonus action using your Strength for the attack and damage rolls. On a hit, this strike deals 1d6 slashing damage due to your talons.

When you reach 6th level in this class, the damage of your lycanthropic unarmed strikes increases to a d8. This damage rises to a d10 at 10th level, and finally to a d12 at 14th level.

Lunar Intuition

At 6th level, your connection to lycanthropy heightens your senses. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell. In addition, you have darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, its range is extended by an additional 30 feet.

Lunar Regeneration

By the time you reach 10th level, the cyclic power of the moon has infused your lycanthropic form with a rejuvenating essence. When your body is wounded, this connection hastens your healing.

While you are raging and have transformed using Lycanthropic Transformation, at the start of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to half your Barbarian level, rounded down (minimum of 1), but only if you have less than half of your hit points left and have taken damage since your last turn.

However, this regenerative power has its limits. If you suffer damage from silvered weapons, this healing effect does not function on your next turn.

Full Moon Frenzy

By 14th level, your connection with the primal forces has deepened, and the mysterious power of the full moon amplifies your lycanthropic prowess. The moon's latent energy courses through your veins, yearning for release.

Once per long rest, while you are raging and have transformed using Lycanthropic Transformation, you can invoke the moon's fury. As a bonus action, you can enter a frenzied state that lasts for 1 minute. During this frenzy:

Moon-Driven Alacrity. Empowered by the lunar, your movements become swift and fluid. Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.

Moonlit Fury. The ferocity of your beastly form intensifies, allowing you to lash out with even more vigor. When you use your bonus action to attack with your unarmed strikes, you can make one additional unarmed strike as part of that same bonus action.
