🎭🌟🪙 Aurelian Trickster 🎭🌟🪙

In a world where wealth often equates to power, a select few have learned to tap into the very essence of gold itself. They are the Aurelian Tricksters, mysterious figures who navigate the fine line between fortune and deception.

Born from ancient traditions, these artful rogues have an innate bond with gold, allowing them to wield it in ways most can only dream of. Far from mere treasure hunters, they have discovered hidden alchemical secrets within this precious metal, allowing them to conjure feats of both wonder and woe.

While some utilize their talents for personal gain, others take up the mantle of the trickster to balance scales, redistributing ill-gotten wealth and delivering poetic justice where it's due. To encounter an Aurelian Trickster is to step into a dance of unpredictability, where the shimmer of gold might bring blessings or misfortune in equal measure.

Keep your coin purses close and your senses alert, for in the realm of the golden rogue, nothing is ever as it seems.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In hushed tones, people speak of rogues that aren't just adept at manipulating gold, but who weave it into their tactics and combat. The Aurelian Trickster isn't just a master of wealth, but of the weight that gold carries. Through elaborate tricks and techniques, they command the field in glimmering style.

Coin Toss Fate

At 3rd level, you've learned to read slight fluctuations in the toss of a coin. When you toss a coin and call it (heads or tails), you induce a subtle shift in fortune. If you call it correctly, you or a creature you can see gains a small pocket of luck, allowing them to reroll one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw in the next hour. If you call it wrong, you can't use this ability again until you finish a long rest.

Wealth Wielder

Starting at 9th level, your mastery over gold allows you to craft it into a versatile weapon. As a bonus action, you can shape a handful of gold coins (at least 5) into a shimmering golden throwing star. This star is considered a finesse weapon and can be thrown with a range of 20/60 feet, dealing 1d8 slashing damage. Upon hitting a target, some fragments of gold seep into the target's gear and limbs. This makes their movements more sluggish and their strikes less forceful. The target's movement speed is reduced by 10 feet, and they also suffer a reduction of 1d4 to their melee weapon attack damage, both effects lasting until the end of their next turn. After being thrown, it magically returns to your hand at the end of your turn. The star maintains its form for up to 1 minute. If for some reason the star isn't in your possession for 2 consecutive turns, its form becomes unstable and it disintegrates.

Alchemical Alacrity

Upon reaching 13th level, you've uncovered ancient secrets that allow you to temporarily turn your body to solid gold. As a bonus action, you become a solid golden statue, becoming immovable and impervious to damage. While in this form, you can't move, take actions, reactions, or bonus actions, but you also can't be moved, damaged, or affected by any external force. At the start of your next turn, you revert back to your normal state. Once used, this ability can't be activated again until after a long rest.

Golden Animation

Upon reaching 17th level, you can infuse life into gold, molding it into shapes and forms that serve your will. Once per long rest, as an action, you can touch and animate a golden object or statue. This creation follows your commands, acting on your initiative, and lasts for 1 hour or until its hit points are reduced to 0.

The golden entities you animate may have additional abilities or features depending on their form and the amount of gold used in their creation. It is up to the GM to decide if you possess enough gold and if the desired abilities are appropriate for the entity. For instance, a Gargantuan Golden Dragon might possess a breath attack or a Golden Horse might have a trampling charge. Always consult with your GM when determining the abilities of your golden creations.

If the animated form is reduced to 0 hit points, it reverts to its original inanimate state, but its value diminishes, losing half of its original worth due to the arcane wear and tear from the animation process.
