📜 Tales from the Streets of Waterdeep 🌟

In the winding alleys of Waterdeep, where shadows lurk and danger is but a whisper away, a tale is told by the urchins. A young beggar named Lina once spoke of a vision straight from a dream. As dusk settled, and the city's torches began to light, she saw a figure clad in gleaming white plate, bronze accents reflecting the last glimmers of the sun. Centered on its chest was a pulsating blue medallion, a heart of pure energy.

Lina watched in awe as a group of ruffians cornered an innocent bystander. But before fear could truly set in, the mysterious guardian took to the air, power surging from the soles of its boots, ascending like a bird of prey. Within moments, it descended upon the thugs, releasing a barrage of miniature missiles that burst forth in a brilliant display of light and force. The thugs were left stunned, smoke rising from the cobbled streets, as the guardian extended its hand to help the trembling victim to their feet.

When the morning sun rose, and the tale spread like wildfire, the children began calling this mysterious hero 'The Aether Guardian.' Whispers of hope traveled fast, and every child in Waterdeep dreamt of meeting this beacon of light, this defender against the shadows. And Lina? Well, she still sits on the corner of Wyrmboulevard and Elm, her eyes always looking to the sky, waiting for another glimpse of the city's newfound protector.

Aethersteel Guardian Plate

Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement by a warforged)
Repulsor Flight. As a bonus action, energy repulsors activate on the soles of your boots and palms of your hands, granting you a flying speed of 90 feet. This mode can remain active for up to 1 hour in total each day. This duration can be split up however you choose, but it must be used in 1-minute increments. You regain the use of this ability at dawn.

Integrated Targeting System. While wearing this armor, you can engage its targeting mechanisms. Once per day, when you make an attack roll, you can choose to have that attack automatically hit your target. You regain the use of this ability at dawn.

Arc Reactor

Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a warforged)
Unibeam. As an action, harness the reactor's immense energy to unleash a concentrated beam of radiant energy in a straight line, 5 feet wide and 100 feet long. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 18), taking 5d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This ability can be used once, and it regains use at the next dawn.

Sentient Scan. As an action, you can converse with arc reactor regarding your immediate surroundings. The interface, responding in a mechanical yet sophisticated voice, can provide insights on:

  • Safe and strategic camping spots, considering natural defenses and proximity to resources.
  • The presence and location of any invisible creature or object within 60 feet of you. This does not render them visible, but you perceive their position, motion, and distance. Illusions are penetrated, but total cover or anti-divination shields obscure the detection. In cases of such hidden entities, arc reactor emits a feedback hum, indicating something undetectable nearby.

2-Set Bonus: Guided Missiles
As an action, you can launch a volley of three mini-missiles from concealed compartments within the Aethersteel Guardian Plate, targeting up to three creatures you can see within 150 feet. Each missile hits its target automatically, dealing 1d6 bludgeoning damage, 1d6 fire damage, and 1d6 force  damage. Each target must then make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 18). On a failed save, the target is paralyzed until the end of its next turn.

This integrated missile system can be activated once and regains use at the next dawn.
