Strip number 50!

If I was a less impatient writer, I would probably have saved this part of Sofie's backstory until much later in the story when it becomes much more relevant. But it felt like it fit here even though the payoff won't occur quite a way down the road from now.

When I first started trying to create comics using Daz3D, one of the comic ideas I had was a series of Virtual Reality oriented short stories.

The first story was going to be a guy or a couple trying out a prototype virtual reality system, with the guy ending up with a female character. Dreamband: Character Creation took and will take a few ideas from this one. 

The next story was about a guy trying out a simulation that lets you explore alternate versions of your past, leading him to explore what it would have been like if he had been a girl in college.

The third was a story about a trio of eighteen year olds working their way through a sex-ed virtual learning program, where one lesson was to have sex from the perspective of the other gender.

The fourth story was about a guy who creates a female character for an online game, but disguises her as a male character, and hides that his character is female from his friends. 

The fifth story is a story I'm going to fold into Being Fiona. It was about a guy who lives in a world like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing. One day they are suddenly pulled out of the game when the power is cut to their apartment or VR system, confronting them with the reality that their life and family were all just a VR game. Worse, they can't remember anything about their real life and their real body is the wrong gender! I'm going to give this story to Sophie, but it's going to be a while until we get there.
