Dreamband - Fiona #001-006 - Restylized + Bonus Sketches (Patreon)

So after drawing the first half-dozen strips, the original art style started to feel like it wasn't working for me. It felt kind of muddled, messy and flat. So after some sketching, re-sketching, and even more re-sketching, I think I've worked out a more improved style that I'd like to carry forward with this comic. In the process, I've simplified Craig and Felix's in game costumes, adjusted Felix's avatar's appearance and hopefully made her a bit sexier.

I've left the panels with Felix and Craig in the real world as they are, as I do like the idea of differentiating the real and virtual world with slightly different styles.

I've also included some test sketches of Felix's avatar in different variations of the new style. Also at some point in the future, when Felix finally gains access to an in-game clothing shop, he's going to give his avatar a costume change, which the final two sketch panels give a preview of. But we're probably about 40-50 stripes away from that part of the story.
