Honestly if they square off, I’m almost 100% convinced Tory’s beating Sam. I don’t agree with Sam being the best fighter on paper either. She trained before the rest, but quit at 8. Whatever she learned prior isn’t that important now, age gap is too wide. When everyone else started learning, they had months of training on her. I don’t know if Sam’s defense is up to par with Current Tory’s offense, especially after that Season 5 arc with her. Her attack power is scary. I’d say on paper, Tory or the 3 boys are still the best fighters. Sam has never left Miyagi-Do, may be better than everyone’s… but the rest of the styles were brought to her. She never switched over at any point. And when those other disciplines came to her were altered from their original source, even Eagle Fang. Some say that’s for the best, but I don’t agree. I think all the kids needed the authentic Cobra Kai experience and authentic Miyagi-Do experience to truly be well-rounded. Demetri and Sam are the least of that at this current time. Hawk has Johnny’s CK, Kreese’s CK, Daniel’s Miyagi-Do, and Chozen’s Miyagi-Do. Robby has the same minus Johnny’s CK. Miguel has the same minus Kreese’s CK. Demetri has none of it but Miyagi-Do and some EF, Sam as well. Tory has all the previous ones (though MD might be a stretch, she just started) PLUS Kim and Terry’s CK. She might be the best fighter on paper right now. Her or Hawk, just from sheer experience with each dojo. Sam and Tory can’t really be compared to the boys because they never fight the boys. When they spar the boys never land a hit on the girls either. The writers clearly don’t like that intergender situation with the main teens, so that discussion’s not even worth the conversation lol.

ngl knowing multiple styles doesnt really matter bro Look at daniel and johnny daniel had 6 weeks of training johnny was a 2x champ. yes knowing multiple styles is good I just dont think that really matters in this case. especially since they kinda hinted at that with kresses lesson to kwon , the best fighters are the ones who are focused and balanced and who have something their truly fighting for go back and look at our teens and their victorious and see why they won their respective fights at the time they were all fighting for something.

It does matter, it was Season 4’s whole arc. It didn’t matter in KK1 because it was just CK vs MD and as we’ve seen multiple times now. MD>CK.

Totally agree with you fellas about the poor guidance from Miyagi-Do involving Tory and Kenny. It’s mostly on the adults, but also where was Robby’s concern at? He spent so much of the season talking about his love for Tory and trying to get Kenny to see the light, but he seems fine that Tory is just off in the wind and he literally never says a word about Kenny after the incident in the woods. That’s crazy. And it’s lazy on the writer’s part. So don’t be surprised if Kenny is one of Cobra Kai’s students at the Sekai Taikai, it would make all the sense in the world. My other thing is this — i don’t like the fact that Robby was only able to come back against Miguel because he saw Tory. It makes it seem like he’s reliant on her to focus and have confidence. Now that she’s an opp again, how is he going to be focused at the tournament? I want him to get a win, but i don’t see how based on this last episode. More than likely, he’ll get injured then Miguel will save the day. But that negates the whole “Robby has never won” thing.

Just a suggestion - if you've never watched Ted Lasso, that would be a great show for both your reactions.

No way they can take kwon in a 1v1 2 3 vs 1 maybe
