The first winner from the September character poll is Harley Quinn, in a reimagined (and far kinkier) version of a scene form The Suicide Squad.  A lot of you in the poll seemed to like the idea of seeing her this month...hope you enjoy!

This "alternate scene" is absolutely delightful. She's as flexible as ever, even if she's working in "hard mode" for a bit! Gorgeous work on the lighting!

#ReleasetheDirector'sCut Jokes aside, I think this is one of my favourite pieces of yours. I certainly loved seeing Harley get a couple of scenes in the movie tied up, so was great to see a kinkier alternative. Especially as her dress was such a great look that I really wanted to see in reimagined circumstances But you've really outdone yourself. The Suicide Squad is probably one of the most cinematic superhero movies of recent years (I am so happy I got to see it on the IMAX before my nation had to go into lockdown again), and you've really captured that brilliantly. The lighting is amazing. Love how you've coloured Harley in shadow with the light behind her. But also love how you've handled the light itself, wonderfully replicating the way that light interacts on film. Really cinematic, giving the picture a really unique atmosphere that works wonderfully. You really capture the feel of the scene in the movie and the way that Gunn used visuals to enhance the story, even as you have filtered it in your style and a kinkier direction The bondage itself looks amazing. The tie is great, building on the suspension in the movie but really taking it to the next level in an imaginative and intense way. The spreader bar is doing amazing, sexy work. And the bondage works even better alongside Harley's already sexy dress. The combination of the rope harness with Harley's dress's neckline really makes it impossible not to admire how sexy her chest looks like that. Same with the way the dress drapes down between her legs, suspended so high in the air. Teases you with the treat of what's beneath. But what I really love is Harley's expression, that really feels more subtle and complex even by the standards of your usual expressions. The mixture of concern and effort, as she finds this tie a little bit more challenging than her tie in the movie, helps give this picture real life. As is seeing how she struggles with her mouth around that wonderfully large ball gag. Nothing like the perfect expression to really bring a sexy picture to life, and you've really done an amazing job here And I always love when you add dialogue to the pictures. Always enhances the picture, especially when you really get to capture the voice of a character. Harley playing with the fourth wall fits perfectly, wonderfully capturing her sense of humour in a meta way. Harley's bondage might be tougher in the director's cut, but trust me, the viewer appreciates it

Thanks for the thoughtful review! It really was such a fun movie—soooo much better than the first time around. And it was a fun bonus getting a couple of tied up scenes for Harley but I knew a far kinkier alternative would be appreciated. :) Glad you like the way this one turned out. It was a fun challenge to try to mimic the look of the scene in the movie within my own style. Wouldn’t mind revisiting this version of Harley again.
