Yea, I know I've already used that title.

Anyway, 0.51 is now public! Will upload to Itch later. Will upload a new version for Patrons this weekend! Will be Paladin focused!

We had a poll last month, about what you wanna see implemented first, and a trip to the sunny and sandy south, won! This is gonna be a main quest-type of adventure, like Northcrown, and will take a bit longer to finish up, in fact I'm gonna have to buy a whole new tileset. Don't worry though, there will be smaller updates while you wait for the big adventure.

I've also been thinking about how the Protagonists unique romantic preferences will be revealed to the Townspeople, and I think I've got a plan. The scene partially played out in my head maybe 20 minutes ago. This scene, which I will not spoil, is gonna be the trigger for a series of events which will eventually help the Protagonist go from low-functioning to high-functioning (or at least medium-functioning) on the goblin autism scale and perhaps result in him gaining the ability to form some deeper human connections. I'll probably start implementing this once we're back from the South.

Also, give me you opinions on Unreal Engine, if you haven't already:

Basically, I've been experimenting with the optimal workflow for rendering animation, and I'm in the process of testing if rendering in Unreal is faster/more convenient than Blender. (Will still use Blender to model stuff though). This have in turn also made me realize you can actually make games in Unreal (I am a genius), and so I might potentially use it for some future project.

So that's why I'm kinda testing the waters with this poll. Unreal is uhhh slightly more advanced than Rpgmaker and would offer some new gameplay opportunities. But an Unreal game would demand a bit more juice from people's computers compared to RPGM.

Goblin Layer will continue to be RPGM though, would be kinda dumb to start remaking it at this point lol.
