Stella on the boat (Patreon)

Stella may not have been in my original plans but she was the first model I thought to replace Tanya Modele, who had to depart earlier than planned because of an emergency with her dog.  Stella lives in Nicosia and, unlike other Cyprus-based models I know, her levels include art nude.  So I was so pleased she could make it.

Photography technique: shooting on a boat has many challenges, especially if it’s a small boat and there are many people on it.  One of the problems is that even if the boat is anchored, it doesn’t stay still, it keeps turning! So this makes framing and composition difficult. In addition, it’s near impossible to get rid of or limit shadows. That’s why I like most the image of Stella standing in the cave - which I chose as the lead image - as she is in the shade.
