Breaking: First win with Mia! (Patreon)

Delighted to share the news that I’ve just won Image of the Day on Model Folio, with an image of Mia.  It is my first win with Mia, which makes it quite special.

What makes it even more special for me is the photographer who is behind the runner up image.

The image itself is, in my view, absolutely beautiful. When I saw it I immediately clicked on the photographer‘s profile, which turns out to be a new member who joined only last month.  I loved all the images on it and then I started reading the profile (attached). Wow! This guy may be new to MF but he is clearly not new to photography.  He is a well established and highly acclaimed professional photographer - he has photographed many top celebrities. The list includes the Queen and other members of the Royal family, Barack Obama, Theresa May (anyone remembers her?) and others!

When I saw all that yesterday I nearly fell off my chair. After that, I really didn’t expect to win.  But I did and I am genuinely chuffed and humbled.  And it was also pretty decisive, with a difference of 4 votes.

But perhaps I had a better model than him.   Mia is absolutely captivating in this image, she’s to fall in love with, isn’t she?
