Mia - the first edits (Patreon)

I don’t know about you but I’m still on a high from yesterday‘s shoot with Mia!  I have so much content worthy of retouching it’s beyond belief.  Even before the shoot finished I sent four images to my primary retoucher, Alexander Fess to test edit.  This is my standard practice to make sure the model likes the retouched images.  On the rare occasions they don’t, there’s always an ask to do something differently.  I do this partly in order to keep my models happy with what I post. I see too many models who want to dissociate themselves from images, and this is often due to bad retouching.

I can now let you know that Mia loved the test edits! I sent them to her just after midnight last night and she came back to me very quickly saying that they look incredible and she loves them all!

I can also add that she loved the originals! And for your benefit only, I am including the originals too in this post.  So it’s a before and after post.  Let me know what you think.

Mia is a real beauty, no editing is really needed of her unique beauty but Alexander, as you can see, has made the images a little warmer. I should also add that Mia has very fair skin, and that my originals are slightly under-exposed to make her look a little warmer.  I discussed this with her during the shoot and showed her both correctly exposed and slightly under-exposed images - like most of my models she preferred the latter, as the under exposure makes her skin look slightly more tanned.  In the ninth image in this post I am adding the technical settings of the first original for the benefit of those of you interested in my photography technique.
