Always chuffed to wake up to one of these emails from Purpleport! And even better when it’s an FPI with a new to me model - this time it’s Poppy Haskell.  The FPI is my 60th - which is a bit of a landmark - and comes only one week after my last one, which was on 31st May.  May it long continue!

Much of the credit for this one should go to Poppy. Not only is her modelling natural and flawless, but it was her idea to use that book.  It  adds so much to the story.

And an interesting aside. In my own view, the last image in this post, which focuses on the article in the book and in which Poppy is deliberately blurry, tells a more interesting story. I posted that first on Purpleport but it hardly got any likes.  So I posted the one that’s now an FPI and purpleporters liked that a lot and it ended up in the FPI queue within minutes of me posting it.  It stayed in the queue for seven days, the minimum needed to acquire the status of an FPI.  At midnight last night it passed the point where it can’t be kicked out and by 6am it was on the front page.  So they clearly loved it on PP but it leaves me with no clues as to why my preferred one remains so unloved!
