Yippee another FPI! (Patreon)

It’s always great to wake up to one of these emails!  This one is an image with Julia from our shoots in Cyprus last November.  Those of you who’ve been here a few months will, of course, know Julia and what an excellent art nude model she is. Those who are relatively new  may not have seen her as my last post with Julia was over a month ago, although I have over 60 posts with her. You can see more of Julia by using the search facility. All past posts will come up. Meanwhile I am adding a few more art nude images from that shoot In this post.

FPIs dont quite pay the bills but, in my view, they’re like hard currency on Purpleport as they provide a lot of exposure - the image stays on the front page for 24 hours, so everyone who visits will see it. Purpleport is the largest model photography site in the UK, so FPIs get a lot of attention.

This is now my 59th FPI and although going from 58 to 59 won’t make that much of a difference, it still refreshes people’s memories of the quality of one’s work. 

For a model like Julia who only had two FPIs before this one - one of which with me - her third one will give her much needed exposure that will likely result in paid work.  This is one of the reasons that makes models want to shoot with photographers with lots of FPIs.   The other one is of course that they know they will get good images from such photographers, as the number of FPIs is, by and large, an indicator of work quality.

Rafy had her first FPI yesterday - she only became active on Purpleport after I met her two weeks ago and gave her some advice how to use the site.  She immediately had interest from UK photographers, we got a new booking for our Cyprus photography trip with her and she’s now looking to do a UK tour in July (if this happens, I’ll be hosting her).
