One of the best things about having to stay overnight is that you get a room you can shoot in in which you had never shot before!  If you choose carefully that could work really well.   I tend to spend hours choosing a hotel and these days I attach a lot of importance to the room.  So this was one of the large rooms at the Spa hotel in Tunbridge Wells and it offered a nice traditional setting.  If you ask me whether I’d choose this again, however, I’d say no but the reasons weren’t to do with the room decor or size, which allowed us to get a lot out of a one hour shoot. I did, of course, have a great model! And she did bring along some lovely lingerie outfits and those spiky heels, which I loved.  But put the same model in a grubby hotel room and the images wouldn’t be quite the same, I don’t think.

ps: how many of you would like me to do a post with the spiky heels (unedited, of course)?  I probably have at least a dozen really nice ones.
