Yey, another FPI with Athena! (Patreon)

So nice to wake up to another FPI this morning!  It’s actually my second with Athena Rose this week! And my fifth overall with her - out of my now 34 FPIs.

But this one is a little special.  To start, it‘s the first from this year’s photography holiday In April.  And as I’ve already won one with Luci, it’s nice to also win one with Athena.  The third reason is that all my other FPIs with Athena are on the same location - White Stones near Limassol.  The location of this one was our villa at Pernera beach.  And just in case you think it was just a holiday snap, I can assure you that it wasn’t. Check the background- behind that white sheet is an ugly looking aluminium window frame - you can just about see its shadow.  Putting that sheet in place was a challenge by itself and I‘m so grateful to the other photographer who brought all kinds of fabrics in his suitcase including this one!

On the other side of the pool, there is a wall that was obstructing my movements and ability to frame this correctly - those king legs are hard to fit in! I remember trying three different lenses to get it right.  

Last but not least, all that glitz and glam! Who said glam doesn’t win FPIs?
