Some of you may wonder why I make such a fuss about FPIs on Purpleport.  The answer is easy.  It’s good for me and it’s good for my patrons.

Let me explain why.  Purpleport seems to me the biggest and most prestigious site for UK based models and photographers.  What do you think?  Is there a bigger or better site I am not aware of?

FPIs showcase one’s best work as they remain on the Purpleport front page for nearly a whole day.  Everyone who visits the site is bound to look at the days FPIs.  FPIs therefore create impressions, usually positive ones, and attention in someone’s work.  Models and photographers alike often decide to reach out to a new model or photographer after they seen them win an FPI.  In fact, that‘s how I discovered Jasmine High and Athena Rose and wanted to work with them.  Models get more work when they are tagged in an FPI ans therefore like to work with photographers who are likely to win them FPIs.  Winning FPIs is therefore key to successful model photography.  A lot of good models now want to work with me and the models I already work with, are even more keen to continue working with me.  As a result, winning FPIs helps create more and better images, helps to attract new models and in some cases makes models more willing to try higher levels with a photographer.

All of which means my Patreon can only get better and better.

ps: I suspect FPis on a Sunday morning are even better than at any other time, as I suspect more people  visit the site on Sundays.
