Taking stock of my year, the first quarter was challenging for most people due to the lockdown. In my case I also had to move out of my old house and as I was going through divorce, I was initially homeless and had to live in a hotel room…fortunately by March I was able to move into my new home.  I wasted no time turning into a photographer‘s paradise!

I found a lovely brand new house in Market Harborough but I couldn’t move in until March
The year started with me checking out of the “Hotel California”, where in 2020 I began my journey into model photography
A lot of beautiful images were created in this room, which you can see on my social media. On 5 January it stood empty.
It was lockdown, I was staying in a hotel and going out to parks to shoot whatever seemed interesting!
This was the view from my hotel window on a snowy day in January 2021
I shot this in February from a very safe distance! Notice the disappearing walkers…an optical illusion?
5 March 2021 - my first real shoot of the year, drove to Newark on Trent to shoot Sarah York, an outdoor shoot, socially distanced.
In April I shot Mrs Gee, in her lovely house in Derbyshire. She was having a good hair day and this image won us a star 🌟 on Model Folio.
In April I also shot the delectable Monika, in Oxfordshire.
Probably my most loved image from last April’s shoot with Monika.
In late April I was shooting Nikita for a fashion brand, Ciao Bellissima.
Here’s another one of Nikita wearing a Ciao Bellissima outfit, in Market Harborough memorial garden.
In May I was off to London, and started using Canon art filters…
This was the lovely Bethany, a real Nepalese princess. Shot in the splendour of London Hilton Waldorf.
In June I shot Jess, an alternative model, in my new home studio.
Another one of Jess, which won a star on Model Folio, although that star has since disappeared, no idea what happened…
