X Men 2000 FULL REACTION

I’d love for you guys to do some more X-men movies I’ve wanted to watch them all for a while but I’ve only watched this one so far and it’s already some of my favorite “superhero” stuff I love the unique powers they show off. Also my theory for how magneto can fly is that he has steel toe boots on so he can just move himself around freely

Ha... that was the most underwhelmed that I've seen them. This movie hasn't held up as well as it could have... the pacing is off, some illogical plotting, emotional beats like Logan/Jean feel rushed out of nowhere, Halle Berry has nothing to do. I think they'll enjoy later movies more.

Magneto controls metal by creating and manipulating magnetic fields. He is able to 'fly' by creating a magnetic field around himself which repels the natural magnetic field generated by the Earth. By manipulating this magnetic field around his body he is able to move himself through the air. He's not in reality flying at all. He is being pushed away from the surface of the earth in the same way that if you bring the north magnetic poles of two magnets together they will repel each other. Oh, and wanted to add . . . loved the reaction the two of you are awesome thanks for the content can't wait for the next one.

I love Logan, Hugh Hackman is awesome

I think personally this film felt a lot better when I first watched it because it was before all the Marvel was released, and I am very fond of the characters especially Wolverine and rouge, but there is also a lot of complex characters this is probably not one of the best X-Men

Jaedon Manton

You are correct. This was written by THE David Hayter AKA Solid Snake

These movies are so nostalgic for me, I always enjoyed them for what they were but I was also never quite satisfied. I have been a big fan of x-men since I was a kid and these movies did not do most of the characters justice sadly. Professor X, Magneto and Wolverine being the main exceptions. Can't wait to see what the MCU does with them.

This doesn't have the tag Movie ;-)

Actually.... Mutation 'is' evolution. They are basically the same thing. A population of lifeforms exists in a habitat, and every time offspring are born, there are small variances in the new members of that population. Mutations. Most of these variances are inconsequential, but every now and then the differences are impactful enough to make a difference in the way the new member of the population survives compared to the others. Maybe its more capable of evading predators, able to go where the others can't, or it can more aptly handle environments more extreme than its own... something that gives it a better chance of surviving compared to others of its kind..... When that happens the new member of that population has a better chance of staying alive to procreate, and if given enough time, and enough generations born with this specific mutations, it becomes the dominant version of it's kind. That, in a nutshell, is evolution. The mutations that are impactful enough to give a member of a species a better chance to pass along it's genes to future descendants, and thus change the course of it's entire species. That's why humans are generally more at an evolutionary standstill compared to lesser species... because there isn't much that threatens our survival. We have technologically built a society for ourselves where our survival really isn't as dependent on random mutation anymore.
