"Bedtime for Bonzo" was a film Ronald Reagan made with a Chimp "Bad Ape" is Steve Zahn, you'll have seen him in a bunch of stuff Nova is latin for New by the way, that's why they called her Nova because she's a new type of human

I am beyond happy that Maurice survived I love him. Hopefully Maurice will play a bigger part in the next one it’s going be strange not having Caesar

Bad Ape is adorable .🐒 I wasn't expecting a character like that in these movies. I enjoyed the levity he brought to this film.

There are so many "easter eggs" in these movies back to the original Planet of the Apes films. Cornelius was the name of the male ape scientist played by Roddy McDowell. Zira, the female ape doctor, called the Charlton Heston character "Bright Eyes" (which is what this series called the changes the drug made to the apes' eyes. Nova was the female human that was with Charlton Heston - she was unable to speak. All the humans weren't able to speak. The crosses in the forest by the border facility were shaped the same as ones used in the original series to mark the border to no-man's land. I'm sure there are more, but these are ones I noticed while watching War's reaction.

Those three infected soldiers in the snow were all shot in the heart (or they thought), so they didn't just bury them. Apparently the guy that was alive, they missed the heart? Or he just took longer to die, but Maurice said that he would die from his wounds.
