YaYa

Woo!! my absolute favorite finale of all the disney+ shows!

Anonymous

I know I’d be a lot but I’d love to see you both watch the Netflix shows

Jordan Amos

So here is the run down for you guys on Daredevil. it was not and still might not be a part of the MCU timeline, however there is a version coming out that is 100% in the MCU, the reason folks ask for reactors to watch the original daredevil is because Kingpin is in it and seeing him here is nice cameo surprise, it is the same actor that is here and that will be in the new one and he is absolutely amazing in the old series. The old series is something that can be watched whenever or not at all but like i said, it is amazing and is just great TV in general.

RuinFox

The logo on the back of the watch is the S.H.I.E.L.D logo ;)

Anonymous

It's been confirmed for ages that Daredevil is part of the MCU, even this week Marvel confirmed again that it's MCU

Chloe Arabella

I just want to say the musical was written by a guy who hasn't watched avengers and learned words from his partner for the song but he did a good job. also good job at keeping it together during the hawkeye and yelena scene i balled my eyes out its too sad and just such a nice speech conversation thing

Papi Dillion

fortunately, darebevil doesnt need to be seen before this. but daredevil is a great back story after the fact. it will needed to be watch before future shows that have not been released yet, just because its a fantastic show

Jordan Amos

The watch is his wife's and tells us that she is a former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Maggie Barbour

I'm with you guys. I did not want this show to end. It had everything in it. Humor, heart, great action and can be a tearjerker. I wanted more but I am so excited to know we will probably see more of Kate and Yelena in the future

Klaas Jan Runia

Jack Duquesne is a nod to Swordsman in the comics (in this show he is more of an adaptation of this character)

Jenny Lee Villanueva

I was going to suggest a movie musical genre 😅 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️😁

roncelune

Jeremy Renner posted a video running up a road just a few days ago, and I think it was also said he started filming for something for the 1st time since his accident, this guy is a warrior we will definitely see him as Hawkeye again

Papi Dillion

they still should. there are a lot of good musicals that just have a fantastic story, so much you can forget the music is even there sometimes. example The Greatest Showman, fantastic music but even more incredible story

Octavia

Clint says he has an idea for her name.... cue the Hawkeye title. The idea is Hawkeye. Just like Yelena is seemingly Natasha's successor, as a Black Widow. And you're not alone, Rob... a good many ship Kate/Yelena. ('Bishova')

Klaas Jan Runia

Loved this show! Would also not object to a Kate Bishop/Yelena Belova show :) Awesome chemistry. So, Laura Barton, Clint’s wife, used to be S.H.I.E.L.D. too: Agent 19 aka Mockingbird

Michael Celia

Vincent D'Onofrio is PERFECT casting as Kingpin...and he's downright scary in Daredevil. And to answer your question about the tree, a replica of Rockefeller Center was actually built in a backlot for the tree stunt and the following action sequence. Combined with the on location shooting in NYC, you can hardly tell the difference.

James

Kate bishop

Chris Goodwin

Netflix Daredevil is legendary! You’ll learn so much about Wilson Fisk and how dope and fierce he is

sierra's reaction corner

The idea that Clint said he had for Kate's hero title was "Hawkeye" which is why they cut to the title scene lol Kate IS Hawkeye too! Which is why this show is just as much about her as it is about Clint. A lot of people, were like you and slightly disappointed or confused to see so much focus on Kate at first, but I'm glad that she grew on you as well! I love Kate so much, her and Shang-Chi are probably my new favorite characters introduced in Phase 4! You are not the only ones to love the chemistry between Kate and Yelena (and even ship them). They're basically Clint + Natasha 2.0 haha but understandably very different characters, who we love in different ways and for different reasons, which I LOVE. I haven't watched Daredevil myself either and it hasn't ruined my watching experience of the MCU so I wouldn't stress it! Whenever you guys do it, I'll gladly be watching along with you. And the watch that Clint retrieved and gave to his wife at the end had the symbol for SHIELD on it. And he said "take better care of your stuff". That (along with her skill with languages and knowledge of what Clint was doing the whole time) was the shows way of telling us that his wife was actually a SHIELD agent and we can assume that's how they met. Her agent name was Mockingbird! I know you guys said you weren't big on musicals and were laughing at the Rogers the Musical scene, but I really hope you'll eventually watch Hamilton (2020) because that's one of the best musicals I've ever seen! So happy to have rewatched Hawkeye with you guys and I'm SUPERRR excited to finally get to the next movie!

Hawkeye (So This is Christmas?)- Thank you so very much for each of your fantastic reactions to Hawkeye, dear friends! I absolutely love this show, and I had so much fun watching this one season Marvel series again with you both. Overall... I absolutely love Hawkeye, because Clint Barton/Hawkeye is definitely one of my absolute favorite Avengers, and Jeremy Renner is phenomenal throughout this show! I definitely enjoy his friendship and partnership with Kate Bishop. Even though she's a rookie compared to Clint. I absolutely love seeing how very protective of Kate Clint is. And I love seeing his struggles with dealing with Natasha's death, and his struggles that come from his dark past while he acted as the avenging assassin, Ronin. Everything involving Clint, and his need to protect not only Kate, but also his family as well, is everything that I love about this show! And of course... I absolutely love his scenes and moments with Yelena, Natasha's sister too! What a beautiful moment between them. Thankfully, Yelena is now able to move on and to fully grieve for her sister, without feeling anymore hate towards the man she believed all this time had killed her, and without her need to seek vengeance against him. Thanks to Clint proving to Yelena that Natasha died because of her own choice to save his life. And now... Thanks to this time with Yelena, Clint is also now able to let go of his own guilt he suffers from losing Natasha, so that he too can let it go and move on. Which is beautiful, and I love it! I believe that Yelena just needed someone to blame for her sister's death, because she couldn't accept that she died by sacrificing herself. Not that she didn't believe Natasha would do so, but she didn't want to believe it, because she was just so angry that she died. And when she was hired to kill Clint, Yelena eagerly accepted the job from Val (the mystery villain with a purple streak in her hair from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Black Widow, who actually gave Yelena the hit after Elenor Bishop put the hit out on Clint in the first place), so she could take her anger out on someone who could possibly be held responsible. She just needed someone to blame, and therefore she didn't bother to check the facts until Kate encouraged her to finally do so. Kate Bishop is also a great character overall. Most of all... I absolutely love seeing how much she loves and admires Clint, and has ever since she had seen him fighting in the war against the Chitauri shown in The Avengers back in 2012. Hawkeye is sadly known to be the Avenger least liked by a majority of the Marvel fans, because he's just a man, with an arrow and a bow, and without any special powers. I am one of the few Marvel fans who absolutely loves Hawkeye, and considers him to be one of my favorite Avengers. And for all the same reasons that Kate loves him for too. Just as she finally admits to him here in the end of this final episode of Hawkeye. Because Hawkeye is just a man with a bow and arrow, who is brave and who fights for good because it's what's right. And because he proved to her that anyone can fight for good, whether they have powers or not. My only real dislike with Kate's character, is that she doesn't listen very well, and it takes her a while to finally understand the real risk and sacrifice that it takes to be an avenger. She just fights without doing much thinking first, which causes her to often get herself into a lot of trouble throughout this show. Kate just keeps insisting that she fight at Clint's side, believing that it's so cool to be a real hero. Refusing to listen to Clint when he keeps trying to tell her that she doesn't understand the consequences of becoming a hero. That she doesn't understand the real stakes it takes to become one. And Clint is absolutely right. Kate doesn't understand. Not until the end, and in this final episode. Kate finally does learn from her mistakes, and does what's right by having her mother arrested for her crimes. Kate is a little annoying to me throughout this show, but overall... I really do enjoy her character a lot. I think that my only real pet peeve with this show, is that Kate Bishop's character definitely overshadows Clint quite a bit throughout this show. When this show is titled... Hawkeye. Which means that Hawkeye should be the main character within this show, and not Kate. However, I think that this show focuses a little too much on Kate and her family, and not as much on Clint as it should. I understand that this show was written as a way for Clint to pass down his title of Hawkeye, to this upcoming Avenger, given that Jeremy Renner has come to the point in his life when he wishes to retire from being an Avenger in the movies. So, I definitely understand why Jeremy Renner stands back a little more and allows for Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop to stand out within the limelight. I just wish that Hawkeye was more the main character within this show. My only other pet peeve I have with this show, is the big fight between Kate and Kingpin. Kingpin is actually the main supervillain from the comic, show, and movies, titled... Daredevil. And yes... He is also a part of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movies, which I have not seen. And while I've never watched the TV series, Daredevil, I do know Kingpin is one of the show's major villains, and I know how tough Kingpin is to fight and take down. He is most definitely enhanced somehow, which is how he was able to survive his fight against Kate. Which is actually why I hate seeing Kate Bishop being the one to fight him on her own, and it's why I hate seeing her defeat him. She may not have been the one to supposedly kill him, as we see Maya supposedly do so later on. However, I just can't believe that a teenage girl, no matter her own skills and weaponry, has the strength to be able to take him on in a fight and win. Even with the help she gets from Clint's trick arrows and from her mom, who hits Kingpin with her car to help her daughter. It's just a little too unbelievable for me. Nonetheless... Kate is very lucky to have survived, just like Clint tells her so. Maya is a great character introduced within this show as well! She's very sympathetic, and I really feel for her. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of Maya within the MCU, as I do believe she will be coming back later on in her own series too, titled... Echo. I can only hope that we will have an opportunity to see Maya interact with Clint again in the future too. Yes... Elenor Bishop turns out to be a villain within this show, because she works, or worked directly under Kingpin, even more so than even Maya did. And despite her doing all the harm she's done, and hurting both her own daughter and Clint, as well as Jack, I do feel sympathy for her too. I like her overall character for sure. And as for Jack... Until this final episode, I only saw him as a sleezeball, but he was still a fun character to watch, for whatever reason. He was always entertaining. At least for me. However, upon finding out in this final episode that Jack has been innocent this whole time because he was framed by Elenor, I actually have come to really like his character so much more. Because he fights to protect Kate in the end, and fights alongside the Larpers. Jack is just a charming guy, who is a bit of a sleezeball still, but he is actually a good guy. He's a charming and loveable sleezeball. :) And then... I do really love the Larpers too! They're a great group of allies for our heroes throughout this show, and they're fun. It's great that they were in this show for more than just the one episode where they're first introduced, in episode two. And lastly, in regards to what the watch means to Clint's wife, Laura... The image on the back of the watch is S.H.I.E.L.D.'s logo. Which shows us that Laura Barton once used to be an agent with S.H.I.E.L.D. And the number 19 beneath the logo, tells us that she was once known as Agent 19. She may have even had a moniker she used to go by too. I don't know. I am guessing that Clint and Laura met while working together for S.H.I.E.L.D., until she retired, Possibly upon them falling in love and getting married. Maybe she retired when she got pregnant with their first child. I don't know for sure, because I haven't read the comics. Laura might be a character from the comics, even if she wasn't originally married to Clint Barton. Again... I don't know. This is just a guess. So far... There isn't any more information about who Laura Barton used to be while working for S.H.I.E.L.D. However, this watch is obviously something that links her true identity to the agent she was known by while with S.H.I.E.L.D. This is why she and Clint are so worried about this watch falling into the wrong hands, just like he tells Kate in episode five. Overall... I absolutely love this show, even more so than I love The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as well. Both of these shows are by far my favorites within the Marvel Universe. Because Bucky and Hawkeye are two of my absolute favorite Avengers! Thank you once more, Rob and Trin! I really loved watching your reactions for Hawkeye, and I truly am happy to continue supporting you, as you continue to enjoy more of the movies and shows from month to month. Thank you, dear friends! Sincerely, Heidi

What a wonderfully fun experience this was! You guys are such a pleasure to re-watch along with. Your enthusiasm and appreciation for this cinematic multiverse helps to remind all of us, that at the end of the day it’s all about having fun with these amazing characters, stories, and talented artists that bring it all to life for our entertainment. Making your way thru the Marvel Multiverse is a long journey that some of us have at least a 20+ years heads start on. We all have our favorite characters that you guys have yet to meet. I have been guilty of gushing over a certain group of characters that Deadpool loves to roast, and in the process got into some general spoiler territory. My apologies. I am happy you guys were introduced to Kingpin via Spider-Man’s corner of Marvel and not Daredevil’s. I was introduced to Kingpin and Daredevil in a similar manner as a kid watching the 90’s Saturday morning Spider-Man cartoon. As an adult I have seen some of Daredevil’s corner of Marvel, and when the time comes, it will be just as fun to revisit with you guys as Hawkeye was! Until then, we need to see how Peter Parker has been doing since the world found out he is Spider-Man, and who or what a Moon Knight is?

PsYcHoKiLLa

I wonder if Rob has seen Full Metal Jacket or Men in Black, 2 great movies that Vincent D'onofrio was in

Bradley Weeks

Rob , I know you said you don't like musicals but not all musicals are corny or cheesy. I hope one day you will give Hamilton a watch. I think you might enjoy it and I would love to watch your reactions.

Rigs216

Batman is super. He has money but he's also a mega genius the world's greatest detective and trained to the absolute limit of what the human body can do. If at least the genious level intellect isn't genetic your lying to yourself and if he can be that far above average by birth he's basically a mutant

Wendy Sparks

Full Metal Jacket is definitely his most memorable. And his long run in L&O Criminal Intent. First movies that I ever saw D'Onofrio in were: Adventures in Babysitting and Mystic Pizza. But FMJ is the wowza.

Octavia

Whether it's next year or 3 years, whenever guys get around to the 'other' Marvel series... It's just something to look forward to. (Personally, my anticipation is more for 'Jessica Jones' and 'Agents of Shield', over 'Daredevil'. But all in good time.)

Octavia

Love Daredevil, but I rate S1 of Jessica Jones even higher. Really looking forward to them eventually watching both.

Mark Bigwood

I think they would absolutely love Agents of Shield. I've been hoping for that since they started Lost lol.

Partheeban Senthilnathan

Guys. Please watch Daredevil if you liked Fisk. It’ll actually enhance your watch of spiderman no way home too 😉

Alyssa Dyson

Daredevil is peak marvel TV you can watch it any time because the first 3 seasons dont tie directly into this marvel universe.

Cliff

Agents of Shield sessions 3-7 are the best out of all other Marvel Shows

Rafikki

The back of the watch that belonged to his wife was a shield logo, she was Agent 19 of shield, Mockingbird

James W.

I like seeing reactions from you guys because you aren't cynical about it like lots of the fandom has become. It is just a good vibes show with some cool story and character beats. I didn't need to know any more of Clint's backstory than we have already gotten but I did want to know how the aftermath of Endgame effected him and they did a really good job with it here. Barton's "idea" was what is said right after on the title splash. "Hawkeye". Even before Renner had that real life accident where he almost died, I think he was starting to want to distance himself a bit from the character; now with Kate I feel like she is going to be the new Hawkeye and I bet Barton will take a mentor role the same way Batman does for his protégés. All conjecture but feels like what they'll do. If and when the Thunderbolts movie comes out we'll get the whole Avengers version of the Suicide Quad with Zemo, Bucky, John Walker, Yelena, her dad Red Guardian, Ghost from Antman and Christine from Seinfeld as their Nick Fury / Amanda Waller style character. Basically all heroes with questionable pasts in a team. I am really interested to see how ends up because the comics were cool. I can't wait for you guys to back track to Agents of Shield, I think you will fall in love with it the way a lot of us did. The first like 3 seasons are very much a a B story for the MCU films up through Age of Ultron and then it really comes into it's own. I hope Disney re-integrates that show back into the continuity somehow because I love the whole cast of AoS. Then the whole Netflix Universe of Daredevil, Punisher, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, ironfist and all. I just hope you don't get burnt our because its fun to re-watch it "with" you.
