Clarke and Bellamy are the reasonable ones here to be fair. Yes, lincoln turned out to be nice and yes I agree Bellamy is hot headed. But heading out there without protection would have been stupid. The grounders started killing them out of nowhere, even Lincoln was saving them from his own people. Like grounders are allowed to hide people in the trees with weapons but our people is not? Both sides were trying to protect themselves. Either way bringing Jasper was not the best idea, we can all agree on that.

I don't have a problem with Clarke wanting armed back-up... the Grounders brought the same. It would be naive of both sides to be fully trusting of your 'enemy' at this point. But Jasper shot first, when there was no reason to... he shouldn't have been brought along. That's not on Clarke. She was handling things very well until then. I completely understand the Grounders point of view as well though. Strangers come down, settle on your land, even unknowingly, and cause chaos... and unintentional damage. I mean, unintentional colonialism... still really sucks for the indigenous people. And the Grounders can only go by what they are seeing/experiencing... same for the delinquents.

Octavia

I wouldn't say that the Grounders started killing them out of nowhere. But, yeah, it would seem that way to Clarke & Co. But now that we know about what the flares caused... we can look back and realize that the attack in the woods literally happened right after the flares burnt the village down. That's what set off that attack. Of course, our gang didn't realize or intend it... but I can also see it from the grounders eyes and lifestyle. To them it would seem like a strike. And the spear in Jasper... well, they had plenty of opportunity to take the group out... but only struck Jasper when he crossed to the other side and held up the Mt. Weather sign. Almost as if that is something that is absolutely forbidden. Too soon to say more. But I'd say that the grounders are as justified in their actions as the delinquents. Both are just reacting on half a story. Fully agree about Jasper... with his ptsd, he was the worst choice for any mission involving grounders. And it was strategically smart for both sides to bring level-headed back up. Just a shame that Jasper lost it... because Clarke & Anya were making headway.

Rob, Trin, I get that all these love connections and stuff like that are getting old but u need to remember that its way different than idk show like walking dead. While in Walking Dead they tend to skip days between episode sometimes, in The 100 this is probablly day after day so it moves way slower than walking dead and thats why they are still feeling all of it

Clarke and Bellamy were right for bringing guns, they should not had brought jasper. If you look at it like the walking dead, when Rick met the Governor, he'd be stupid not to bring backup and weapons, same situation here. Difference is, Clarke and Bellamy have less knowledge of the grounders than Rick had of the Governor

My house, my rules. That's the way I see the Grounder's mentality. Fair enough. But, yah, it would have been pretty stupid to go out there without some kind of back up. They did the best they could. Plans don't always turn out the way you want them to. Let's hope they can salvage something out of this fiasco.

Im excited for the last 3 episodes of this season and season 2 is a banger.

Yeah it is a bit childish in the beginning with all of the teen romance, but that's kind of what they intended, the characters mature along with the show, and it only gets better from here. I really hope you guys continue this show to its finish, and even watch it more consistently because it really does advance. Loving the reactions as always!

Clarke said "with our technology we could wipe you out". Anya said "you wouldn't be the first to try". 🤔🤨
