TWD S09EP07 Stradivarius FULL REACTION

Comments

Maggie Barbour

I just noticed this but wanted to share because he does direct a few episodes, but this episode was directed by Michael Cudlitz. The guy who played Abraham

Jack's World

Was just going to comment this! It was awesome to see his director style

The woman with the heightened senses is Connie, she's my fav from the new group! And that's her younger sister (not brother) Kelly, who translates for her most of the time. Can't wait for next episode, it's crazy! Right now you guys can't imagine what's coming in this series.

Reverend Jim Jones

So much mystery. Where's Eugene?! Maybe if the walkers are learning speech, he can talk to them and annoy them to the point of leaving him alone. I'm dying to see you find out what's going on.

Kim Tilton

All your questions will be answered. The X mark, talking walkers, new characters.

What I love about this episode and this season is that we're far enough along in the apocalypse to re-start civilization and all the questions, implications, and politics that come with that project. Growth is also reflected in the green TWD logo in the opening credits. Luke brings up such a great point about how culture, and not war, is the fulcrum for civilization. We'll see this theme again and again throughout this season: Art and storytelling = a common ideology that brings people together...as proven by your Patreon and Youtube channel. :) I'm so glad you're excited for the show again. It's how many of us felt after Seasons 7 & 8! You're in for a treat!

The fact that Daryl has been living in the woods for 6 years trying to find Rick's body or Walker Rick to give him mercy is so touching to me.

Nora

I need more episodes ASAP! 😂😂🥳🥳😆

Angelina Sargent

Haha I've always called them walkie talkies lol I love that you said that!!!

Handsome_Man

Kim, do delete this message and keep comments relevant to this or previous episodes.

Thoma

When you said that Tom Payne, Jesus, looks like a thinner Jason Momoa, I can't unsee it, lol.

angie808

DOG!!!!! That's all I have to say for now. LOL!

Kim Magee

Isn't the guy who told michionne about Rosita, C Thomas Howell, I know he is in it

Kim Magee

Love dog ❤️ 😍 💖 love Henry looking out for his Mummy, even though he isn't a huge Daryl fan willing to have him be his babysitter for his mummas sake

Angelina Sargent

Trins comment about the scars being a tribute to Rick. 😆

Thoma

I've never thought of it either. When he said that, I thought "Omg! He really does"! Cracked me up.

Anonymous

You and Jay Lee say walkie talkie that is hilarious great reaction to this episode can't wait for the next one

Anonymous

Pls delete, this can hint at certain things, we can say stuff like this after they find out what it means.

Anonymous

Love this episode, specifically Lukes story about music, just so cool to see someone have that much of a passion for something from the old world THIS far into the apocalypse and still have such a belief that it can still make a change even in a world like that❤️

Angelina Sargent

Nope... I'm sorry that's rediculous. Which way does it hint? I'm literally pointing out her comment. The only way that's a hint is if you already know what the answer is.

2023-06-06 11:20:06 It shows how wrong he was when he told Rick back in 904 that he just has to let Carl go…he hasn’t let Rick go after 6 years & Rick was only holding onto Carl for a year & a half after raising him for 14ish years

Jack, I don't believe that Rick had to let Carl go, but I do believe he should have let Carl's vision go. Just because that was Carl's vision, doesn't mean that it would or could happen...and it didn't. I believe Daryl was right when he told Rick "you're chasing something for him that ain't meant to be man".

Anonymous

Rob and Trin have said they don't want to know anything about future episodes. Please delete your comment.

Luke Fitton

To be fair I think Rick’s plans to make Carl’s vision a reality could have worked, slowly but surely. But then Maggie hung Gregory (not saying I blame her), then Oceanside started killing Saviours and everything went wrong because of the few that can’t look past what happened. Then of course Rick wasn’t around to mend the disrepair. It was a dangerous goal to achieve and I understand what Daryl was saying though.

Anonymous

The very things you mentioned is why I feel Carl's vision could not have happened. Maggie hanging Gregory, Oceanside killing Saviors, certain Saviors not following Rick's lead, Rick not being there to maintain things. None of these things fit into Carl's vision.

Anonymous

You heard em. Delete it. You commented spoilers under episode 5, as well, and several people asked you to delete it because Rob and Trin have asked not to be informed about future episodes. Yet you did not delete it. And now you're under this episode commenting on future episodes again. Please stop it already. I don't know how many times people have to ask this of you. Why are you intentionally disrespecting their wishes?

PsYcHoKiLLa

Not sure if you noticed in the beginning credits but this was directed by Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), he directed quite a lot of the episodes, as did other cast members.

Brad Tyler

The writing is so good here. The fact that this new group have only just been introduced and I already care a lot about them all at this point. They’re so well fleshed out and remind me of our group, with how close they all are. I’m glad Michonne softened up a little. The mystery element to the writing made this season feel so fresh and exciting. I can’t wait for what’s to come.

2023-06-07 09:02:01 Being able to bring in new characters so late into a series isn't easy! That's one thing I noticed immediately once Angela Kang took over. I started caring more about all the characters for some reason, not that I didn't originally, but there just felt like something deeper put into them. I really liked how it never felt crowded either which often happens on tv shows with a large cast. Every character gets a good amount of screen time & plays an important role in some part of the plot. I also really enjoyed seeing characters interact that never have before or you never thought would. Seeing Rick & Eugene working together so close was surprising & wonderful. Rosita & Gabe, Tara & Jesus, etc.. it feels very fresh & really intensified my investment. Adding Connie & the little details of how you're supposed to communicate with someone who is deaf was amazing as well.

Nope. Because then that would be considered a hint. Just wanted to point out to a friend on here she said that.

Brad Tyler

I totally agree. It just feels like it’s fresh again and I love it. The new dynamics are so interesting, and definitely not easy to do this late into a show, but they pulled it off so well.

Bassorelli Chiara

Just wanted to say that you guys make my every day! I get so happy when you guys release TWD or Marvel. I honestly feel like I´m watching my favorite things with friends and people who care, so just thank you for making our days brighter! :)

Tommy Thompson

Tara's a good example of this I think. She was used quite sporadically in previous seasons, and part of the reason I think certain people didn't warm to her was because she wasn't developed enough. We didn't really know what her true character was like, or particularly relate to the decisions she made. In Season 9, you can really see what she cares about, and it elevates her character massively.
