When morgan days You were supposed to refers to him killing his walker wife , because he didn’t his son Dwayne was killed .

Seeing Rick play a villain here really made me appreciate his character all the more, I mean it really exemplified how this new world can turn people evil! Furthermore it highlights the fact that’s always been know: Rick is unable to effectively cope with loss- something this world has stapled.

Return of the King Ezekiel 😂

Heather Baker

Good eye Trin, that is the exact same filming spot where Carol finds Henry(as the one where Rick left Sophia)

Rick straight up murdered a guy who had just saved his life.. Definitely one of the worst, most vile things he's ever done to the point that it actually bugs me. No mercy for Jared though, so satisfying to see him eaten alive!

Just when you think Rick won’t do anything worse than what happened at the satellite compound in S6, here he goes at the dive bar this episode. This was worse IMO. Dude wasn’t ready to stop this ish and read Carl’s letter.

What journey its been. Can't wait to see you react to the final 2.

"you know what it is" refers to the walkers, you know what the walkers are. and "you were supposed to" refers to you were supposed to put her down (morgans wife) but he couldnt even though she was a walker. wich led to his son's death

I don’t know what it is but I’m obsessed with the way Rosita said “Mierda…they have our bullet maker, they can make more” and “We don’t take out the machines…we take out the man” at the end of the episode. Something about her line delivery was so satisfying here. Great reactions as always Rob and Trin!

Rick AND Morgan in their crazy eras is so scary. But can we talk about the acting? Andrew Lincoln and Lennie James are the best actors in the show hands down.

I loved this episode, Rick is definitely still struggling with his emotions after Carl’s death in the midst of all of this

The boy that plays Henry is the irl brother to the girl that played Sophia. The line when Morgan said never be sorry is exactly what he told Carl when he was found seasons back by Rick, Michonne & Carl when he was clearing.

Probably my favourite episode of the season. Stellar acting partnerships between Andrew/Lennie, Andrew/Danai, Melissa/Khary, Melissa/Lennie. So well done.

Carl

I forgot to mention in the last episode, that morgan is really going through it. By the way morgan is my favorite walking dead character. I can understand morgan on a deep level, the images morgan see the dead and they all saying "you know what it supposed to" have a different meaning based on the situation, in one episode it meant that the good people always die and the weak people always inherited the earth, in another episode it means morgan has to be this way even though it's hurting him but in his clear mode he can't be vulnerable to getting hurt like that again. So it's kinda a metaphor of what's shattered can't be shattered again unless you pick up the pieces to fix it. The first time I watched this, I was very angry at rick for lying to them savio I mean I called Rick every name in the book, bastard, piece of shit, and lying-cheating-piece-of-shit-motherfucker. I was digusted when use the same phrase of believing in a man's word and not being a man about keeping his word, I respected morgan a hell of a lot more because morgan told them what he going to do straight up, I didn't ever think I see rick lower himself to tricking people. I thought rick was way above that nonsense, that legit pissed me off. I was so disappointed in rick, but watching this again for the 30th time I'm a little bit more understanding so I don't know how I feel about rick, I get it he's grieving and he is not thinking straight but it still fucked up he straight up lied to good people that was trying to return to hilltop. I feel bad for those saviors, rip. I almost forgot I thought morgan was going to kill Henry because he didn't think he was real, I was worried fir Henry safety.
