I think the Vulture only became rich after he started dealing arms but before then it was middle class struggle which was why him losing that clean up contract was such an effective catalyst. I completely empathize and understand while also agreeing that only Stark’s company should handle the clean up due to the dangerous nature of the debris. When they took over the project, they should have paid him back for his investment, it’s not like that would have been the tip of the iceberg for Stark Industry finances.

Yay! This was great to watch you guys react to! The spider-man films are my absolute favourite marvel films-- tom is amazing! I totally agree, my favourite part of this film, or just in all the Marvel stuff in general is the Tony & Peter father/son dymnamic feel-- so much heart! The vulture 'step-dad' twist is such a good moment-- i remember everyone gasping in the cinema at the reveal! Can't wait for next weeks film-- this 3rd Thor film is another one of my favourites! (Taika Waititi's mad genius!)

Among the ABSOLUTE BEST OF THE BEST! Such a damn enjoyable and nearly perfect take on the character. So glad you guys enjoyed it so much! Also, the tag with Captain America at the very end of the credits was one of the most hilarious things ever when seeing this in theaters and sitting through all the credits without being able to skip to the end. So good! Man, you guys are in for SO MANY GREAT MOVIES for the next several weeks, I can't wait.

"We only had a tower for one movie" Yeahhhh, Tony realized in Avengers he just did it to be the center of attention (like Loki), and it was dangerous to hold powerful beings that "invite conflict" (Vision's words from Ultron) in the middle of a densely populated city. Great watch with y'all, can't wait for the YouTube cut!

May didn't know Peter was on the ferry, she was worried about him, couldn't reach him and then she saw the news of this dangerous thing happening on the ferry and the "worried mom brain" kicked in and thought MAYBE that's why she wasn't able to reach him. They don't mention it outright, but they do hint at the loss of Uncle Ben and how she worries a lot more for Peter which is why, when Ned first found out he was Spider-Man, Pete said to him that he couldn't tell May because of all that she's been through, she'd freak out and Ned immediately got serious and said, "OK, I won't say anything to anyone." (paraphrasing). So yeah, the implication has been that she worries about Peter all the time since Ben's death.

One thing about Liz being on her phone was that they weren't on the date yet. They were being driven TO the date by her dad. They weren't into the date yet. Now, if she did that AT Homecoming, yeah, that'd be a major no-no for a date.

Principal Morita at Peter's school is the grandson of Jim Morita, one of the Howling Commandos (Cap's hand-picked team) from Captain America: The First Avenger. He's played by the same actor.

I first got into spider man watching the Toby maguire spider man, my very first comic was a spider man comic. It was a part of a school project during Halloween season that you have to dress up as the character in the book that you presented to the class. Lol I remember I wasn't wearing the classic spider man suit, it was super bulky and muscular like Brock Lesnar. if you don't get that reference than let's just say it bulky like venom or the hulk or a extreme body builder, hahaha. I love this movie, it was fun watching it in theaters.

If you like Tom Holland, you should watch The Impossible. It's his first movie and his co-stars are Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts. If you're interested, it can be cool to watch it knowing nothing about it (like not looking at the poster).
