Loved the double episode drop! Thank you both for jumping into Marvel and embracing it with such open minds. You help remind us what these films and shows are all about, having fun! Rewatching this show with you guys has been a true pleasure. I found myself tearing up so much more than I did when I first watched it, mostly with tears of joy, but the heavier moments hit harder as well. This show gave me lots of X-Men: The Animated Series vibes, especially the finale. Even before we got the iconic music tease and “mutation” line, I just kept feeling like the MCU was laying the groundwork for a shift of the social and political climate in a more obvious manner. The comments Deevers made about “the wrong people” having abilities, saying kids shouldn’t have super powers. The conversations about “coming out” as a person with abilities and how your friends and family process that. A person’s right to tell their own truth when they are ready. The elements of finding your family and a sense of belonging amongst new friends. Embracing who and what you are, and where you come from. As well as, being ostracized and targeted because of who and what you are and where you come from. Spider-Man does have a tendency to experience a lot of similar types of hate and prejudice the X-Men receive and the Spider-Man vibes were present throughout this show as well. We did get more positive vibes when Kamala’s neighbors and community came to her defense. It was showcased in a very Tobey’s era of Spider-Man kind of way. That was nice to see. I’m looking forward to spending next month with you guys in the 90’s! Starting X-Men: The Animated Series from 1992 or even just jumping into X-Men 97’ would be very on point for a 90’s themed movie month, just saying 🤷‍♀️😜😁 *Edit add on: I wanted to also say thank you for telling us your plan for the “Netflix” Marvel shows aka The Defenders Saga. I like that you will be bouncing around and following the release order. It definitely helps keeps things fresh. I hope my mentioning the X-Men animated series as a possible watch didn’t add to any pressure or expectations. You guys give this channel your all and I appreciate your efforts greatly. I was just tossing out ideas and hopes. I understand you guys can’t watch it all right now, but it never hurts to hope. Next month is going to be awesome, thanks again!

I really liked this series. Also this is actually where I stopped my marvel watching so from here on it’ll be the first time I’m seeing it too. Also excited about the Netflix stuff! Hoping it’ll take walking dead’s spot after Rick and Michonne is done
