Better late than never right? From the entire team of Physalis, we wish you all a happy new year of the Tiger 2022! Our dear Lucuma really liked the idea to give you all a nice treat to honor such important event. (Artwork made by one of our main artists, LeRoach!)

This post however is going to be a long one, as we wanted to explain many of the things that happened in the backstage of Physalis, such events are already changing our group into a new direction since we want this year to be the year of Project Phyalis.

-New Direction:

First of all, I Kranesh I'm assuming the role of Creative Director of the group instead of Mr. WestCoast, this however does not mean that I am the new leader of Physalis, but just someone who will get the job the done by making and releasing ideas for projects, contacting artists, programmers and whatnot, while keeping a close eye to the Patreon, its contents and our social media.

Mr. WestCoast is still a part of the group and one of our main artists and animators, just that he felt more confortable in being a backstage worker than the face of the group, his personal life also had ups and downs and his current position within the group is far more comfortable for him.

As the new Creative Director, I deeply apologize for the lack of content and communication, I know Physalis used to create a lot of amazing things in a somewhat quick pace, and last year and these past few months we were not delivering what we were meant to, but as I promise, things will change for the best soon enough.

-Roadmap:

Project Physalis currently has several major projects, some tied to our own IP's while others are fan related works, like big mini games, artworks among others. So this is why I am presenting a small roadmap for the foreseeable future.

1) Release the Velma themed mini game that was meant to be delivered last Halloween ASAP, hopefully during February.

2) Continuing development of Frozen Heart Bitches and aim to have a demo in a few months.

3) Start development on Deviant Hearts and showcase development on that project.

And of course, we will still be presenting small quick games, artwork and other types of media in between, so we can deliver content more often in the Patreon for the entertainment of everyone while they wait for big releases.

As for the current status of Velma's game, backgrounds are ready as you all can see in the attachments of this post, it was one of the main things we needed for the development process and this will give us a much needed speed boost so we can release the game very soon.

-Final Words:

Those are our current main updates regarding our group in general, also expect a makeover really soon here on our Patreon's page, because new year means new us, and as the new creative director, I compromise to bring Physalis to newer heights.

We thank you all for your support and your understanding, doesn't matter if you're a Patron or just someone who likes our work on Twitter, we appreciate each and one of you and we promise to give back all of this kindness the best way we can, by delivering sexy and hot content for your pleasure!

We will have more updates early next month, so stay tuned!

-Kranesh

This seems like it's for the best. The team has turned out some great projects, but I see a lot of Patrons upset by the lack of communication. It sounds like this should help address the issue and hopefully get releases coming out at a more regular pace. Even consistently updating once a month can make a big difference and ensure people stick around for the eventual release.

And that is indeed the main issue, I cannot apologize enough due to the lack of content and communication, but actions are stronger than words most of the time, and I'll make sure to keep a steady line of communication between us and not only with our Patrons, but our fans in general. -Kranesh
