So, we have finally concluded the journey, one that will stick with us for a very long time. I will never tire of watching this series, and it's been a fantastic time watching along with you. Two good moments from you in this movie was at the start when you realized the grandmother was Ann, and when the guy was shown for the first time. Also the emotional differences, certain moments hitting you harder than me for being in different walks in life. Much love Gaz, until next time.

The end of a journey. As painful as certain scenes are, they always remind us of the importance of the little everyday things. Even just a letter. Because a letter isn't just a sheet of paper with words on it, it's a means to convey feelings to someone else, whether good or bad. And by doing so it, itself, acquires emotional importance, and will forever be there to remind us of a person, a situation, or a time in the past. And Violet is the epitome of the importance of "remembering", and of accepting and loving yourself and those around you. She never lets go of anything she learnt, felt, or anyone she met. Her name, her brooch, her promise, the feelings for the person who gave her that name, the people who supported her, the people she helped while working as a doll, and how all of those things changed her. It is we, especially in the world of today, who should learn from Violet how to live, how to love those around us, how to appreciate the world we live in.

I had to think about this one before I shared my thoughts. Your incredible journey of this anime title has now concluded. So glad to come along with you on this one. Violet’s quest to seek the meaning of “I love you” had touched the lives of so many along the way. 57:31 “Sometimes you have to tell people…your true feelings, or they’ll never know”. A Testament to the depth of her character arc. A story so well written, that it leaves you with such a long lasting, emotional impression . As you mentioned, this was done in just 13 episodes, an OVA and 2 movies. Violet Evergarden, will always have a place in my heart. In every iteration of that name.
