Did i miss something ? People love oshi no ko that much ? I didn't expect oshi no ko to be so close with death note.

Probably because Death Note is somewhat "old" by now and Oshi no ko is currentl airing, has a lot of manga reader hype, an incredible first episode, a banger OP and is all around well done with an interesting story. Death Note has its place but it's also a fairly long series.

Death note is old like a good wine ! And also have banger OP/ED. But yeah, i guess oshi no ko is new and trending for the moment ^^ Death note is such a classic of anime it surprised me it was close with oshi no ko.

Mm I'm torn, personally I feel OnK is overhyped and not what Episode 1 sets up, but that's a whole discussion. Would be nice to keep a series that's more on the wholesome warming side while you watch through your various battle shounens, but that's just my personal taste. Voted Violet because it's my #1, I think it's a better watch without the camera and hope you enjoy it if you do watch it.

DEATH NOTE LFG! Gaz If you do end up watching death Note, I highly recommend the English dub. It's one of the most well done Dubs widely regarded in the community!

Just one episode of Death Note is all I need. Finish the show later, the first episode works incredibly well as a standalone masterpiece.
