MAPPA went all out for this special episode its wild, especially the rumbling scenes that were absolutely horrific. If you dont get stomped on, you get burnt. If you fly over it or go underground, you would probably survive, but there would be nothing left except for sterile dirt and huge footprints for thousands of kilometers in every direction.

This was jam packed full of content. There are so many subtle, and also horrifying details throughout the episode . I had high expectations for this and I can easily say, it’s the best one IMO. MAPPA delivered an instant masterpiece. Gaz, it’s been a month since I’ve watched it, gotta say, it took me weeks to process the amount of emotional damage this episode inflicted on me.

Anime adaptation of these chapters could not have been done better, Mappa really outdid themselves. You are not ready for the rest though haha, it'll be one of the best moments in animation history without a doubt About the ending song, just note that this is Mikasa's Pov when you react to it :) Now waiting game! *sad noises*

was here since ep1. what a journey we went on eh?! Im not kidding when i say that rewatching this show is just as good as the first time maybe better becuase you can catch all the foreshadowings!

Oh my gosh, I am back! Congratulations on making it to the first part of the final. When I watched this first when it came out, it had been a while since I'd watched AoT so the gruesomeness in the beginning gave me chills... Such a beautifully done first part of the final. I would have to say that the next (final part) is my favorite and I can't wait to see how they animate and voice that.

Like a different comment said, you have to rewatch the show. everything is recontextualized and there so many subtle things you can now see with the advanced knowledge.
