I’m just now getting around to watching these latest reactions but I just gotta say I’m a huge advocate for never skipping openings and endings in anime for many reasons 1. The openings are there to hype you up for the episode and get you in the mood for the show you’re going into and the endings are to wind down afterwards. 2. You never know when they might change something up in the opening or ending whether it be a change in visuals, music, or a mid or end credits scene. 3. A lot of people work really hard to make the openings and endings and so skipping them just feels dismissive somehow. 4. I know people say like oh don’t watch the opening it has spoilers but they don’t really have any spoilers usually especially when you don’t have context and just about anything in an opening or ending could be just symbolic and as long as you’re not picking apart the openings and endings frame by frame and trying to analyze them and just enjoy and appreciate them then you shouldn’t be spoiled by them because if you think about it, they air these episodes with the openings and endings for a reason why would they put them there if they have spoilers? Sometimes openings or endings visuals will change depending on the events of the episode but you would never know if you skip them every time. For example in this latest season of My Hero Academia they changed some visuals in the ending for some of the episodes to reflect big things that happened in that episode and it always had a really good emotional impact so honestly I wouldn’t worry about spoilers and just watch it the way it’s made

Obviously don’t let me or anyone else tell you how to watch or enjoy something because that wasn’t my intention with my previous comment at all. If you want to skip them that’s completely okay I just wanted to give a bit of perspective on the whole openings and endings thing that I never really see people talk about
